I am trying to use chan_capi with an Eicon Diva Server BRI. I installed the Eicon drivers from source including CAPU and I can use the board correcly using tty_test and minicom over /dev/ttyds01 or /dev/ttyds01. I need to insmod capi ( why? it is not written anywhere) and then capiinfo shows me all board parameters, but I have to break it otherwise capiinfo doesn't exit at all, but I don't know if this is an expected behaviour. A plea to all! Has anyone had any success with two or more avm fritz pci cards with either misdn, chan_misdn, or chan_capi, and any version of linux 2.6.x? I have managed to get misdn to load under 2.6.13 and detect two cards using misdn-capi and chan-capi (using capiinfo and capi info under asterisk) - but the second card/controller doesn't answer or dial calls. But if I try misdn without capi I get the following error mISDN: INTERNAL ERROR in drivers/isdn/hardware/mISDN/stack.c:596 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jon

Hello asterisk-users, I recently set up an asterisk server using Debian Sarge. I also added an ISDN card (AVM FritzCard PCI) to the machine. I built amd installed a new kernel (2.6.15.1) with modular support for the CAPI stuff and also integrated the FritzCard driver available from AVM. capiinfo succeeds in correctly showing the ISDN card. When talking from one PC to another via SIP, everything works fine.
