imap failing
At a loss. I've removed and reinstalled all the ports that use openssl.so.10 now, and still having the same issue. At this point, I'm looking at just upgrading the whole system to freebsd 12.0 and seeing what happens. Not sure why the core files don't seem to cooperate with gdb, butI assume that is some freebsd configuration issue. If anyone has any other ideas though I am all ears.

Stable Production Environment on Unix/Linux
Hello, I wonder what would be the most stable production runtime environment for a rails application on Unix/Linux. I am not very fond of FastCGI indeed, since it''s not seen any further developement lately. What are your experiences e.g. with the mongrel server? Has anybody used it for production? What are the alternatives? May be some fine lad could just point me to web site

Upgrade to 2.3.1 has failed
Andy, This is just rude. You have been told multiple times that the less-than symbol is required to read the certificate from the file. Otherwise, the filename is parsed as if it is the certificate itself. Which yields garbage. If dovecot can't read that file, it is *not* dovecot's fault. You are simply not going to succeed until *you* figure out what security differences you have in

Trying to do aseries of subsets with function or for loop
...culate the "scat" etc, values for each level of id, output a vector of these values that is a <- c(scat, sdog, srat, sbat ) and do an rbind on them. Each level of id has a different value of rate. So far it it looks to me like I can do this by a series of repeated subsets of Df butI would think that I should be able to do this with a function but I am not having any luck. Thus far, I'm not even sure if the function is doing anything The other approach seems to be a for loop but I don't see how to handle it there either. I am sure I have seen something about exporti...

Upgrade to 2.3.1 has failed
Phil hi. Thank you for explaining what the symbol does... so it is like the BASH?from symbol. OK.That is new information. So without it dovecot reads the path/to/file as if it were a hashed cert, which of course doesn't work. So with the symbol dovecot tries to follow the path to read the cert but for some reason cannot read it. Now, that is curious, since I can cat the path/to/file and read

Home directory weirdness after upgrade from 3.0.33 to 3.5.6
Hi List, I've just updated from Samba 3.0.33 to 3.5.6 on my Centos 5.5 PDC and am having problems accessing home directories. To allow a backout option I set up a new server, put 3.0.33 on it, joined it to the domain and rsynced the home directories over with the flags necessary to maintain the permissions and user/group ownership. This worked and after completion I upgraded the new

wma8 decodings
Monty wanted some samples with which to compare Vorbis and WMA, and he doesn't have a Win32 machine, so I made some. Microsoft has made their own demo samples available at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/en/WM8/audio.asp I took their original .wav's, and encoded them with their wma8 encoder utility (WM8EUTIL.EXE), using all of the available stereo modes at 44.1kHz.
