Hello everyone, I have been having some problems with wine, mainly that I can't get any winetricks to show up. I downloaded both wine and winetricks from Mac Ports, I have even installed some third party programs (Like Trix) and no luck. In wine and wine bottler the list is always empty! I have tried to install winetricks manually through the terminal as well. I really have no idea why this is going on, All I need to be able to use right now is vcrun6, and I can't get it to show up. Hi all, I have a simple question (I think). I unearthed a copy of Warcraft II: Battle.net edition, and got a surge of nostalgia so I installed it. I have an Intel iMac running Snow Leopard. I was able to install the hybrid disc using Wine Bottler. (I mounted the Windows side of the disc via Terminal.) Now, when I hit "Play Warcraft II" it says that it can't find a file in the disc, even though it's in the drive. Is there something I'm forgetting or a step I haven't done? Thanks in advance! I installed wine using the Wine Bottler/Wine package but, nothing is working with it. The "Winetrix" is empty and I don't think that it should be. ...currently setting up a network using ubuntu and we wanted to apply program install restriction on it. However, we got a computer that run AutoCAD and thus we install wine, thus the user can bypass the software install restriction by installing exe files. In mac OS X there is a program called wine bottler that can embed wine to the exe progrum, thus eliminating the need to install wine on the target computer. ...o the wine files and have found it. Everything is good so far. I have tried running the .exe file from file management in Wine and have had no luck as it doesn't seem to want to open for me. So I went and in the wine files in my Mac HDD went and found where construct was installed and using winebottler turned the .exe of construct into a .app file format. Doing this has gotten me the farthest as double clicking on it will have wine prepare to open it and then...nothing happens!
