Grandstream 2010 and blinky lights
I am using 1.4, and have the above device, and it worked really well
with monitoring 18 "hints" aka devices.
Now, I've moved us to a hotdesking paradigm where the user is the
"extension" not the device. IOW if I dial 1234, I will get user 1234
(who happens to log on to device ABC today, and DEF tomorrow).
Can I make the GXP monitor user 1234, not extension 1234 ?

using http to provision a Grandstrea GXP2000 phone
I have a GXP2010 phone, the one with 18 blinky lights ;)
I currently provision the phone by writing out the conf file, encoding
it and sending it to the tftp server. I was wondering if anyone had
managed to automate the web side of provisioning ?
TIA
Julian

Grandstream and pickup
Man, I really feel stupid, but after banging my head on a brick wall for
several hours ... I need help!
I've gotten the BLF to work on my shiny new GXP2010. The GXP is exten
5707, and I've got an xlite on 5608.
When I make a call from an outside line, I dial SIP/5608. The little
blinky light on the GXP that's monitoring 5608 goes, well, "blink
blink". :) I then press the button and get a "603 declined". This is the
dialplan smippet:
[blf]
exten => 5608,hint,SIP/5608
..snip..
..snip..
exten = > 444608,1,Dial(Sip/5608)

Problem w/ PC port on Polycom 335
Hi all,
I've got a batch of Polycom 335's that I'm trying to get setup. The phone
works fine, but when I plug a PC into the PC port on the back, the PC can't get
to the Internet.
I've turned off all of the VLAN configuration. I've never had this problem
before, so I'm at a loss as to how to proceed.
Usually, it just works...
Any ideas?

[Un]forunately, it's normally my job to bring the board to the state where it has working
UART, Ethernet and blinky lights.

Does anyone know if Geany 1.34 is headed to one of the repositories? I am running version 1.31 and interested in the 1.33+ since the markdown plugin has apparently been updated.

Help with voicemail
...icated * box).
1. Thanks to jporier who can be found at ccu.edu, I figured out how to
deal with MWI for all the remote servers by mounting the voicemail directory
via NFS from VMAIL1 onto the VOIPx servers which host the actual phones.
Then sticking a msg00000.txt file into the directory makes the blinky light
go on the phones. So far so good.
What I'm asking the list for is either a brief code snippet or pointers to a
doc/link on how to setup the following:
A. None of the VOIPx servers have vmail enabled on them. When someone
gets dumped to voicemail, I envision the call being transferred...

EVE Online on FreeBSD/amd64. Handshake error.
I have FreeBSD 8.2/amd64. I installed wine as described here (section HOWTO Run Wine on FreeBSD 64 bits): http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=23787
EVE installs and runs perfectly, but when i try to log in, i get handshake error.
Also, i try this version of wine http://www.mediafire.com/wine_fbsd64 but i get the same error.
I did't find anything strange in log:
