Domain Admin Group privaleges
Using Samba 3.0.2 (specifically the samba-3.0.2-7.FC1 Fedora package) with LDAP as a passdb backend I'm encountering problems with Domain Groups. I have come across various postings, some to this list, with people that are experiencing similar problems. However I have not found any information as to the cause/solution. The problem is as follows. I have the following group configurations in

Grandstream 2010 and blinky lights
I am using 1.4, and have the above device, and it worked really well with monitoring 18 "hints" aka devices. Now, I've moved us to a hotdesking paradigm where the user is the "extension" not the device. IOW if I dial 1234, I will get user 1234 (who happens to log on to device ABC today, and DEF tomorrow). Can I make the GXP monitor user 1234, not extension 1234 ?

using http to provision a Grandstrea GXP2000 phone
I have a GXP2010 phone, the one with 18 blinky lights ;) I currently provision the phone by writing out the conf file, encoding it and sending it to the tftp server. I was wondering if anyone had managed to automate the web side of provisioning ? Grandstream and pickup
Man, I really feel stupid, but after banging my head on a brick wall for several hours ... I need help! I've gotten the BLF to work on my shiny new GXP2010. The GXP is exten 5707, and I've got an xlite on 5608. When I make a call from an outside line, I dial SIP/5608. The little blinky light on the GXP that's monitoring 5608 goes, well, "blink blink". :) I then press

Problem w/ PC port on Polycom 335
Hi all, I've got a batch of Polycom 335's that I'm trying to get setup. The phone works fine, but when I plug a PC into the PC port on the back, the PC can't get to the Internet. I've turned off all of the VLAN configuration. I've never had this problem before, so I'm at a loss as to how to proceed. Usually, it just works... Any ideas? -- Take care and

Does anyone know if Geany 1.34 is headed to one of the repositories? I am running version 1.31 and interested in the 1.33+ since the markdown plugin has apparently been updated.

Geany 1.34
FWIW, on Fedora 29, I'm running Geany 1.34.1 and didn't have to enable anything other than the default repositories. So, it'd appear to at least be in the stream. geany-1.34.1-2.fc29.x86_64 On Thu, Feb 14, 2019 at 8:53 AM H <agents at meddatainc.com> wrote: > On 01/04/2019 04:17 AM, H wrote: > > Does anyone know if Geany 1.34 is headed to one of the repositories? One can also do the 'yum-cron' dance to automate updates. Help with voicemail
I'm looking to use * for a HQ/branch office topology with fairly few calls over the WAN. The questions I have all pertain to the following architectural pic: http://www.45891.com/misc/arch.jpg I'm looking at a distributed architecture so users are somewhat functional when the link to HQ is down, with a centralized voicemail server to allow for transfer of voicemail messages from user to
