issues with gap.plot function
Dear all: I have the following codes: Xdata<-c(2,3,8,9,10) Ydata<-1:5 gap.plot(Xdata, Ydata,gap=c(5,6),gap.axis="x",type="o") However, the type='o' seems only work on the first part of gap plot, the second half of the plot always just points, you can not add lines on that part, any help will be highly appreciated. I would like to have these two parts of

gap.barplot doesn't support data arrays?
...nge plot with no y-tics and bars stretching downwards, as if all the values were negative: > twogrp2<-array(twogrp, dim=c(2,5)) > gap.barplot(twogrp2,gap=c(8,16),xlab="Index",ytics=c(3,6,17,20),ylab="Group values",main="Barplot with gap") Error in rect(xtics[bigones] - halfwidth, botgap, xtics[bigones] + halfwidth, : cannot mix zero-length and non-zero-length coordinates However, the main title and axis labels do appear correctly. Are data arrays unsupported for gap.barplot, or am I missing something? Thanks, Drew Steen

y-axis in histograms
Dear R- list, I have some data to present with histograms. Therefore I used hist(...). I have few values with almost 80% of the frequencies (totaly 800) and some other values with low frequencies ( totaly 5 -10 ) that I want to emphasize. Therefore I want to "cut" the y-axis on 100, but I don't know how to deal with this. Thanks in advance, Michael Graber

Trying to understand sdorder
My understanding is that NUT provides a mechanism to shut down multiple systems protected by multiple UPS's in a given order. For example to shutdown the users before their NFS server. 1. man ups.conf says sdorder Optional. When you have multiple UPSes on your system, you usually need to turn them off in a certain order. upsdrvctl shuts down all the 0s, then the 1s, 2s, and so on. To

R: New version of riello driver
Hi Charles, I see the issue but I don't be able to reproduce it on the Debian SID. The steps I followed are: - start from debian wheezy; - upgrade to debian testing; - upgrade to debian sid; - in debian sid test nut with riello_usb driver; In this situation there are no trace of error (claim interface) in /var/log/syslog at the moment of attach of cypress usb or at the moment of

RV: About your driver NUTDRV_ATCL_USB(8) for install
I think I may be of some help in this matter. Since I am running a bunch of Raspberry Pi's with NUT and it took a lot of hacking to make it possible. You could probably copy and paste this right into a shell script and just run it ... # Do an rpi-update FIRST to prevent USB strangeness #some depencies from repo sudo apt-get -y install m4 libtool libudev-dev automake #fixing autoconf for

[LLVMdev] The Same Application For SuSE and MS Windows.
Novell/MS plan to release SuSE-Windows combo based on VMWare/Xen/Virtualization. IMO using LLVA/LLVM virtual machine, in theory, it is possible to create a single version of application binaries that run on both OS at the same time. The same application can run on either Windows or Linux or both Windows + Linux without modification/re-compiling. Is this idea possible? What is the
