Has Nufone gone belly-up
Folks, I've ordered a new account from Nufone last month. Transferred money to Nufone through their paypal account. I had communication with Nufone sales up until two weeks back. Since then there were no replies to my emails. I am afraid with this kind of unresponsiveness how one would run a reliable service with this company. Have no bad feeling with Jeremy as the author of widely used h323

how to limit the calls leaving a queue?
Hi, I explain what I want to do.. All the operators share their phones. The number of the operator isn't constant, so it's possible that two operators share all the phones. They need to move all around, so they pick up the first phone they find. If there are only few operator is very annoying for them to ear the other phones ringing while they are at the phone! So I'dd like to limit

Anyone run * on OS X ?
With the 1U Apple G5 server at a good reliability/storage/pricepoint level... got to thinking about compiling Asterisk on OS X.. at least for SIP phone call switching, voicemail, etc. Has anybody attempted this? Email me off list if this is too dev-heavy for the user list. Thanks, Ted W -----Original Message----- From:

No Internet, no asterisk
Hi, this is an old outstanding problem, unfortunately I don't remember how to walkaround it. I use asterisk 1.8.3 and I have a public IP in my network interface. As soon as the Internet connection goes down, phones stop working. I want to be able to use pstn, isdn and the gsm gateway even if the Internet connection goes down, how can I achieve it? Thank you, Darkbasic

Digium FXO Card
Hi, I wish to know if GNUGk can work with * running as a gateway with the Digium FXO card. Kindly share your experiences in case there are some issues which one must know before going in for such a setup. Also, I've been reading about the DialTone detection capability by the hardware in different countries. What are the issues with it? Thanks & Regards, Deepak ----- Original Message

Mail server troubles
...h that content is getting blocked. I don't know if the school moving to another provider will fix that as this isn't because of the IP it was sent from (they block before the DATA is sent in that case). [My guess is that someone wants to move to something else and is using this as the Casus Belli to do so. ] I don't really have a suggestion or solution to either problem.. > -- Stephen J Smoogen.

State rules placement
Hi all, I have seen Shorewall places the state verification rules (-m state --state ESTABLISHED,RELATED) as the first rule in a zone2zone chain. This means that state checking is done after all the rules involving from this zone to this zone. As you could have a lot of them, wont be better to place them just after checking the state is not invalid? This will mean a lot of packages will be

Mail server troubles
Hi, This is probably a bit OT, but here goes. I've been running our local school's mail server since 2013, with mail addresses for school staff and some teachers. The server is running CentOS 7 with Postfix and Dovecot, and it's a nice no-bullshit configuration with SPF, DKIM and DMARC. The school sends quite a lot of email out to parents, and sometimes, mail gets rejected:

Grub2 xen priority order
Hey all, I have moved 10_Linux to 50_Linux and ran update-grub which is fine. The problem I have is that there is xen-syms in /boot And that is being put first in the boot list which is incorrect. How do you make /xen.gz at the top so it is booted first? Thanks Ian _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list
