plspm package error in data frame
Hello,
I am new to R and hope I will not seem ignorant in this post. I am
currently using the plspm package by Gaston Sanchez accompanied by his
text book.
I have attempted to create a square matrix, which has seemed
successful. I used the following code:
> "Attitude" = c(1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)
> "Normative Beliefs" = c(1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)

plspm package error in data frame
Hello,
Please allways cc the list, don't answer just to me.
Now I'm getting a different error. I had noticed that you have no
reference to 'TPBDATA' before the call to plspm but I forgot to mention
it in my first e-mail.
TPB_pls1 = plspm(TPBDATA, TPB_path, TPB_blocks, modes = TPB_modes)
Error in is_tabular(x) : object 'TPBDATA' not found

bayesian belief networks to determine causality
Hello, does R estimate belief networks to estimate chains of causality.
Anyone point me to the right direction, or the most developed library?

The undef story
Mehdi,
I think the following was the point of the conversation,
That both those examples are illegal C programs.
They are both “undefined behavior” because they both
use a shift amount that is too large.
They both should have been rejected by the compiler
even though they weren’t.
Hal agrees wth this assessment,
That’s why we’re waiting for a more complete example.
My belief is that

winbind/samba across subnet bounderies?
...and seems
healthy. but the one in the workstation subnet can not verify his
secret with wbinfo -t. it returns 'bad secret'. The error code (I
belief) is 0x22c. I started winbind with debugging and from the
output I got the impressing that there is some issure with
locateing the PDC, wbinfo beliefes it is down.
Has someone seen this behaviour before and can help me?

RFC: Should the default LLVM build be deterministic?
Hello LLVM-Dev,
Today if a user checks out LLVM, configures with no options specified, and builds the result is non-deterministic. Meaning if you clean and build again the binaries are not identical. This impacts all target platforms equally and is caused by the default value of LLVM_ENABLE_TIMESTAMPS being On.
I believe this is incorrect behavior, and I’m curious what the wider community

re cognizing patterns
DeaRs,
i'm looking for some references on a statement as follows:
"Humans are good at spotting trends and patterns in data, but they are also
good at spotting those patterns where none really exist". This is not
verbatim but there must be some scholarly work on this. I can't remember
where I came across it - perhaps I dreamed it up? Help, anyone?
Best wishes
Paul

Icecast on my website
No flash player can fetch the embedded metadata due to security
restrictions concerning non-standard request headers which is required in
order to get the embedded metadata. A patch for ice cast to allow this
however is quite possible, perhaps a config directive that tells icecast
not to wait for the specific request header and send the embedded metadata
regardless of the icy-metadata header will

"if" function in pure R?
Hi all,
Could anyone refer to me to a good source to learn how to program a simple
control-flow construct* in R, or provide me with a simple example?
Control-flow constructs are programmed as primitives, but I would like to
be able to do that (if possible) in pure R.
The general context is that those functions are a mystery to me. The
motivating example is that I would like to create a function

G.722 over ISDN PRI/BRI
Hi,
G.722 is heavily used by Broadcasters worldwide for wideband voice
communications over ISDN. I'd like to be able to receive these G.722 over ISDN
calls into an Asterisk exchange (with mostly a view to routing the calls to a
Voicemail box where material can be recorded). I have been examining source
code for the 3 different ISDN Channels in Asterisk and they all seem to be hard-

Clang project renamed
Hi everyone,
There are a number of issues with the current name of the Clang project:
* It is prone to incorrect type setting, typically as CLang, CLANG, or
most commonly c̦҉̫̘̺̹̖̗͒͆͋̈̃̇߯l߲҉̷̡̰̖͈̤̺͒҆̾̚͡͝a̺̹͍̔߭͠ͅn͋́͡g̱߫̉
* The C++ compiler ends in the string "g++", which causes problems for
compiler wrapper scripts
* The name has been used by a kickstarter project
