Hi Ross, It's hosted on a system which I have no access to. On 10/14/17, Ross Levis <ross at stationplaylist.com> wrote:> Are you operating your own web server or is it hosted elsewhere? In that case you can't have the URL's you quoted. The easiest solution is to place a .m3u playlist on your website named stream.m3u and live.m3u, and in these files you enter the URL to the Icecast server. You can then link to them like http://www.radiodani.com/stream.m3u and http://www.radiodani.com/live.m3u Alternatively, you can modify your DNS records for your domain and add an A record from say stream.radiodani.com to the IP address of your Icecast server, and then use http://stream.radiodani.com:8000/stream and http://stream.radiodani.com:8000/live Ross. -----Original Message----- From: Icecast [mailto:icecast-bounces at xiph.org] On Behalf Of Danijela Popovic Sent: Saturday, 14 October 2017 9:21 p.m. To: Icecast streaming server user discussions Subject: Re: [Icecast] Icecast on my website Hi Ross, It's hosted on a system which I have no access to. So, I would need a VPS or a Linux distribution... I was hoping it will be possible, but OK, thank you so much.
