queues autopause
Hi, I have 3 queue set in the table as below. name, autopause 1000,1 2000,1 3000,1 In queue 1000, the autopause works after member failed to answer call. However, other queues don't work for the autopause function. queue 1000: -- Nobody picked up in 25000 ms -- Auto-Pausing Queue Member SIP/1234 in queue 1000 since they failed to answer. queue 2000/3000: -- Nobody picked up in

Queue autopause
Hi all! I want to autopause my queue member when they are not answering within 20 seconds, and the autopause should affect all queues they are member of, not only the queue where the call was not answered. Is there a way to do that? The members gets dynamically added. I'm using asterisk 1.4.21.2.

queue members randomly become paused after upgrade to Asterisk 1.4
Hi all, I have upgraded my Asterisk box from 1.2.x to 1.4.x version: it seems that sometimes some phones become paused and cannot receive calls anymore. I tried to set autopause = no in every section of my queues.conf but nothing changes.... Anybody knows why a phone becomes paused? Is it an Asterisk 1.4 bug or there is a particular reason for this behaviour? Thank you. Giorgio.

Determining if a queue member is paused in Dialplan logic. [1.8]
Howdy, I'm looking at enabling autopause on one of my queues where my queue members are bad about leaving their desks without pausing. The problem I see is that when the queue pauses an Member it doesn't jump into the dialplan to do so which means my handy device state and asterisk database driven Light for the Member showing their paused status won't update. My idea for solving

Determining if a queue member is paused in Dialplan logic. [1.8]
...o, I am using Asterisk 11. I just looked and it doesn't appear that the QUEUE_MEMBER function supports the paused option in 1.8. To be honest, I am not sure if there is a good replacement for what I have done below in the 1.8 series. [sub_autopause_status] exten => s,1,NoOp(Checking for autopaused members for ${arg1} queue) same => n,Set(MEMBERS=${QUEUE_MEMBER_LIST(${arg1})}) same => n,Set(i=1) same => n,Set(max=${FIELDQTY(MEMBERS,,)}) same => n,While($[${i} <= ${max}]) same => n,Set(MEMBER=${CUT(MEMBERS,\,,${i})}) same => n,Set(STATUS=${QUEUE_MEMBER(${arg1}...

problem with ringinuse=no, queue members receive randomly two calls
Dear all on a debian amd64 i've installed (from source) asterisk 1.4.30 On the system we have in average 50 concurrent calls in queue and 40 sip members. I'm experiencing an apparently random problem: sometimes some users receive 2 calls from asterisk, apparently ignoring the ringinuse=no settings. It appears on users that are members of many queues As you can see from the log, the

Queue and Interface time out
We are assigning interfaces directly to our customer service queue through an application running on each agent's PC using the QueueAdd Manager API command. No agents are defined in agents.conf. Does anyone have a solution to pause or remove an interface that doesn't answer after a defined period of time? Thank you, James

Double queue calls being delivered to agents
I posted this over in asterisk-dev, realized I probably should have put it here. Hi there, We?ve been having a strange issue with a customer?s queues where a queued call will ring an available agent, agent answers, then a second or two later the agent is offered a second call which they cannot answer, since they?re already speaking with a client. This in turn causes a few issues: - Agent stats

Question regarding call queue and penalty's
Hey All - I've got an interesting problem, here is what I'm trying to accomplish: Six agents, two queues, three skill levels Queue A (queue B is the same) - Level 1 -- Agent 1 -- Agent 2 - Level 2 -- Agent 3 -- Agent 4 - Level 3 -- Agent 5 -- Agent 6 I'd like a call to come in to Queue A, ring agent 1 and agent 2 for X seconds, if agent 1 and agent 2 ignore the call, try

Status of Queue Members
Hi, I'm trying to work out an issue with call queues. I need the calls that are in a queue to be kicked out if all members are unavailable (for example if all SIP members are having network problems). I tried leavewhenempty = yes but that only seems works when all queue members specifically log out of a queue. I've looked at autopause, but we need it to automatically un-pause once it

Disk space exhaustion
Hello, what happens when an instance writes data with 0% available physical disk space, on QCOW2 images for instance, apart from destruction and unpredictability? I'm aware that monitoring is mandatory in production environments, but are there other known industry tricks to deal with this? Soft/hard limit settings, autopause/stop, or does KVM react in doing force shut down the VM in

Call queue problem
Hi all, We have an 8 agent support desk setup with 2 call queues running Asterisk 1.4.5. Every so often agents will receive a call from the queue that only rings once not allowing them time to answer. The call doesn't seem to be dropped, just seems to go to voicemail. The agents are also mentioning they do not receive the 30 second wrapuptime I have specified in queues.conf. We're

Queues and penalties
Hi All I have been looking at this problem for a few days/weeks now and after some advice please. I currently have a customer on 11.25.3 and I am in the process of upgrading versions and OS (Debian) and all things that involves mysql -> PDO etc The problem I have is the customer want a simple call distribution like this Extn 1001, 1002, 1003 to be called on an incoming call - if they

Asterisk 1.6 Transfer issue[Edited]
Hi , I;ve Asterisk 1.6.0 with static agents (sip softphones with extns 100 & 101 ) in a queue..When a caller arrives in queue , it lands on first 100 , 100 then does a blind transfer to 101 .. so that the caller can converse with 101 .. strangely enough the queue_log shows : 1253814090|1253814090.12|55365|NONE|ENTERQUEUE||98221232123

Some minor configuration issues with queues
Hello list ! I have some configuration issues with queues, but I'm sure they are minor and for someone who has already configured queues it could be trivial. This is my queue configuration : [VC_support_queue] musicclass = default strategy = ringall timeout = 20 retry = 5 wrapuptime=15 autofill=yes autopause=no maxlen = 0 setinterfacevar=yes announce-frequency = 0

Call "stuck" in queue
Asterisk 11.1.0 One queue with strategy=leastrecent. (Full queues.conf below.) Occasionally (several times today), a caller will get "stuck" in the queue - there are operators available to take the call, but the caller stays in the queue for a long time. Any idea what might cause this, or where I can start looking to debug it? I'm going to start digging through the queue log

Asterisk 13 queue and DND phones
Hi, I've noticed that when I set a phone on DND (phone-side DND, meaning it rejects calls with a busy status, SIP 486 response code I believe) the queue keeps on trying the phone over and over again. This creates issues in terms of CDR entries - in a scenario where there is only one phone on DND, and a delay between attempts of 1 second, the queue will attempt to ring the single phone
