queues autopause
Hi,
I have 3 queue set in the table as below.
name,autopause
1000,1
2000,1
3000,1
In queue 1000, the autopause works after member failed to answer call.
However, other queues don't work for the autopause function.
queue 1000:
-- Nobody picked up in 25000 ms
-- Auto-Pausing Queue Member SIP/1234 in queue 1000 since they

Queue autopause
Hi all!
I want to autopause my queue member when they are not answering within
20 seconds, and the autopause
should affect all queues they are member of, not only the queue where
the call was not answered.
Is there a way to do that?
The members gets dynamically added. I'm using asterisk 1.4.21.2.

queue members randomly become paused after upgrade to Asterisk 1.4
Hi all,
I have upgraded my Asterisk box from 1.2.x to 1.4.x version: it seems
that sometimes some phones become paused and cannot receive calls
anymore. I tried to set autopause = no in every section of my
queues.conf but nothing changes....
Anybody knows why a phone becomes paused? Is it an Asterisk 1.4 bug or
there is a particular reason for this behaviour?
Thank you.
Giorgio.

I want to display the status to the agent.
I'm using asterisk-1.4.29.1

Determining if a queue member is paused in Dialplan logic. [1.8]
Howdy,
I'm looking at enabling autopause on one of my queues where my queue
members are bad about leaving their desks without pausing.
The problem I see is that when the queue pauses an Member it doesn't jump
into the dialplan to do so which means my handy device state and asterisk
database driven Light for the Member showing their p...

Queue and Interface time out
We are assigning interfaces directly to our customer service queue
through an application running on each agent's PC using the QueueAdd
Manager API command. No agents are defined in agents.conf.
Does anyone have a solution to pause or remove an interface that doesn't
answer after a defined period of time?
Thank you,
James

Double queue calls being delivered to agents
...an available agent, agent answers, then a second or two later the agent is offered a second call which they cannot answer, since they?re already speaking with a client.
This in turn causes a few issues:
- Agent stats are no longer accurate, as it gets marked down as a ?missed call?.
- Cannot use ?autopause? feature any longer, as the second queue call goes unanswered and pauses the agents.
The basic queue setup is as follows:
Autofill = yes
Ringinuse = no
Wrapuptime = 5
Strategy = fewestcalls (tried ?random? also)
Timeout = 15
We?re on Asterisk 11.21.2 currently.

Question regarding call queue and penalty's
...ent 1 and agent 2 for X
seconds, if agent 1 and agent 2 ignore the call, try level 2, ring level 2
(agents 3 and 4) for X seconds, if agent 3 and agent 4 ignore the call, move
to level 3.
I'm using dynamic agents via the Add Queue Member method (SIP/EXTENSION).
I can accomplish this by adding autopause=yes, but my agents who ignore the
call are then paused and won't receive the next call (level 1).
I need to accomplish this using a queue to get reports.
Using 1.4
Any thoughts?

Status of Queue Members
...e with call queues.
I need the calls that are in a queue to be kicked out if all members are unavailable (for example if all SIP members are having network problems).
I tried leavewhenempty = yes but that only seems works when all queue members specifically log out of a queue.
I've looked at autopause, but we need it to automatically un-pause once it comes back online.
Any idea how I can do this? Preferably without using the AMI or AGI scripts, but if that's the only way, then i'll have to use that.
Thanks

Disk space exhaustion
...an instance writes data with 0% available physical
disk space, on QCOW2 images for instance, apart from destruction and
unpredictability?
I'm aware that monitoring is mandatory in production environments, but
are there other known industry tricks to deal with this? Soft/hard limit
settings, autopause/stop, or does KVM react in doing force shut down the
VM in question?
Thank you,
Fabrizio.

Queues and penalties
...users don't answer!!
if user 1002 or (2001 etc) just lets his phone ring - he forgot to logoff
or DND then the penalty is ignored.
There seems to have been a patch for FreePBX on V13 - LazyMembers - but that
is all I can find and later versions have no mention of this
I guess I can use autopause and some AMI / Script but this stops phones
ringing because of the timeout so the user has a ringing phone and then it
stops and then it starts again whereas the penalty just adds handsets into
the ringing group.
This seems to be a real shortcoming in app_queue.
Any ideas, suggestions, anyone w...

Asterisk 13 queue and DND phones
...re there is
only one phone on DND, and a delay between attempts of 1 second, the queue
will attempt to ring the single phone every second, creating one CDR entry
per second. It also creates one event per second in the queue_log file.
Is there any strategy to avoid this? I'm trying to avoid autopause=yes
(because them the employee needs to take action when turned DND off - I
want the simple act of turning DND off to mean the phone starts ringing
again).
- Can I have an autoUNpause after x seconds?
- Can the queue detect that the phone is returning response code
