autologin-user-timeout
Hello,
in the assumption that I understand them correctly I specified in
/etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
autologin-user=xxxx
autologin-user-timeout=10
so that after 10 seconds the user xxxx is logged-in automatically.
What happens is that the user xxxx is logged-in immediately i.e. without
any delay.
Do I understand the second variable wrong or am I missing something?
Thanks for any help.

The session used in Login-Engine & autologin
The Login-Engine uses session to store the user information,if there is
a situation that high concurrent invitation that occurs in that
website, will session be a heavy load?
btw,is there any reference of implementing autologin using cookies?I
found one in
http://www.mattmccray.com/archives/2005/08/26/forget-me-not/,but it uses
session while not cookie, Del.icio.us use cookie to enable autologin,i
think it will not give the burden to website, any references?thanks

autoLogin
I just installed Centos (version 4.4) and wondering how I can change things
so I don't have to login.
I am aware of the security implications for doing this but I would prefer
this if I can do it.
I believe it has something to do with autologin and if so how is this
configured ??

X11 on 5.3 not ALWAYS autologin
I am running 5.3 on x86_64. I have it set to auto login X11 by editing
the /etc/gdm/custom.conf file.
Seems like it does NOT always auto login. Seems like maybe 75% of the time
it does but then sometimes it doesnt.
How can I find out why it doesnt always login?
when it doesnt I dont see anything in dmesg or /var/log/messages.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

Enabling auto-login
How do you enable auto-login? I went into /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf, uncommented autologin-user (and set it to = my login name), and uncommented autologin-user-timeout (and set it to = 0).
Is there something else I missed?

SCCP questions
...ork with this one as well. It's probably
something I screw up with the configuration, as the phone registers,
only I don't get any lines with it, although I have it configured it to
auto-login.

I have the XMLDefaultConf in place, tftp server running, although that's

deprecated ALERT_INFO var andAMI's Originate command
Since 1.4 ALERT_INFO variable has been deprecated. I used to send this
via AMI:
Action: Originate
Channel: Sip/1234
Application: AgentLogin
Data: 1234
Variable: _ALERT_INFO=info=alert-autoanswer
Callerid: AutoLogin[1234]
In order to send an autologin and autoanswer call to the agent 1234 on an
Aastra phone at extension 1234. (just for example).
Now in * 1.4 with ALERT_INFO deprecated I don't have that option, rather
than calling a Local/ channel to SetSIPheaders() and Dial(). I don't want
to do it i...

Gnome boot problem (again :-) )
...I was using EL7 on gnome 3 for few months without any problem. Even 2 hours
ago I had the computer (Laptop running on Nvidia-Prime) turned on and
everything was working without flaw. But when I turned on the computer few
minutes ago, I got login screen (which does not usually happen, since I
have autologin turned on) and when I entered my login credentials I got
black screen and went back to login screen. Everytime I entered my
credentials the same thing happened so I was stuck in endless login loop.
At first I thought it was caused by gnome-extension I updated to new
version today.
So I restarted t...

Hey All,
Can anyone tell me what the following message implies? What does
PEM_read_PrivateKey do and why would it fail?
This is the result of trying to setup ssh for autologin. Though I
follow the man page, it doesn't work.
debug1: PEM_read_PrivateKey failed
Thanks,

SCCP - max lines per phone limit
I'm setting up a 7921 and now want to add a second line to the phone. In my
