run in a Xen PV guest.
With nothing set in atalkd.conf, it reports :
eth0: disabled.
atalkd: zero interfaces, exiting.
Adding "eth0" to atalkd.conf results in :

retitle 660882 pv network device does not support multicast
thanks
Hi Simon,
I'm afraid the Xen PV drivers (on Linux at least) do not support
multicast.
There has historically been some support for multicast, IIRC the old
Solaris front and backends did support it so there is some support
defined but not implemented. e.g. see

Macintosh related question
...#39;t be a problem if i wouldn't want to use that tiny Winpopup
program that comes with Windows.
So, Macs can send instant messages to PCs (using a Winpopup compatible
software named Macpopup, but this doesn't happen the other way around).
I'm running Samba 2.0.7 with Netatalk
In atalkd.conf i only have this line:
eth0 -phase 2 -net 15 -addr 15.224 -zone "DTE_ZONE"
I don't have my domain name (DDTE) in any of netatalk config files.
My smb.conf and is as follows:

Best Printer Setup
Hi,
I've been toying with the idea of using the Linux machine as a print
server. I'm using RedHat 5.2 and Samba 2.0.3. I already have one remote
printer share working... but I can't figure out where the PrintTool in
RedHat is storing the remote printers IP address. Anyone know where? :)
(not important just bugging me - I hate when OS's hide stuff)
I have the Samba book
