Flash Vorbis player
...at I have just made available the sources to the ogg + vorbis implementation in haXe, which I've been working on for last couple of weeks. The code compiles to an swf file playable in Flash Player 10. A demo of a simple player implementation (latest Flash 10 required): http://people.xiph.org/~arek/pg/hx/test.html and the sources, in a bzr branch, currently at: http://people.xiph.org/~arek/bzr/fogg.dev The code is based on Cortado's JOrbis, hence the license is LGPL. There are still some issues, as you will probably notice if you try the demo, but the performance seems promising - jus...

Producing oggs with XiphQT - testers needed!
...doesn't!) with audio/video editing/producing software will really help. Also, comments and suggestions on the work of muxer, encoders' configurability, naming or any other missing feature will help and will be much appreciated. There are built binaries available on: http://people.xiph.org/~arek/ Building from sources hopefully should be more straightforward now (compared to previous versions), as well. It should build and work on Macs, win32 version is not ready yet. Regards, Arek

XiphQT pre-release builds
...few changes in the components since the last release: a memory leak fixed and the recently reported issue with iMovie'08 solved. I'd appreciate any help testing, especially on PPC as I don't have access to that architecture anymore. You can find the binaries at: http://people.xiph.org/~arek/ A question - I used to do releases just building all from trunks, including the Xiph libs. Are there any serious reasons I should consider using latest releases instead, if just for some of the libs, for the upcoming release? I wasn't following the changes that closely so I'm not sure if...

Fwd: [Vorbis-dev] Flash Vorbis player
...er. Ironically voice bandwidth is set to go way down because of it, so I never could understand why cell phone companies were so resistant to it. And Adobe just ported Flash to the iPhone so that's just around the corner too. OS X FLAC Frameworks + 5.1 channel order
...uilt as Mac-specific Framework bundles (libs + public API headers), which in turn are distributed with binary XiphQT releases, or framework binaries can be downloaded separately. As I don't have access to the FLAC source repository, the Xcode build files can be found on: http://people.xiph.org/~arek/snapshots/flac-osx-build.tgz if you would like to add it to your repository. It builds the two aforementioned frameworks out-of-the-box, but without assembly code. As OS X got multi-platform, and OS X developer tools seem to include nasm by default, somebody could probably have a look. I'd be g...
