What sound cards are recognized by Centros? I have installed it on an old 400MHz IBM Aptiva that has Crystal Audio built-in. However it does not seem to recognize that, nor a Sound Blaster, nor a Sound Blaster 16 that I have tried. Any cheapo cards that it would recognize? Mike

I just bought an TDM400P card with one FXS port and a X101P FXO card to try and put together the beginnings of a PBX here. The computer they are going in should arrive in a week. So I thought I would start learning how to config the card in an IBM Aptiva we have here, an old 400Mhz P2 box. However when I put the TDM400P in the box the machine won't POST. Hi, I use CentOS as a firewall/proxy/webserver/fileserver in my small network. As the small-spec machine with CentOS is heavily loaded/used I can't afford downtime. 20 GB, pentium II with only 128 MB RAM. However I want to know the news on 4.5 is it due soon? Can I gain more by running CentOS 3.x range on such an old machine like mine? Will CentOS 5.0 mean you need a minimum of 512 RAM?
