speex on a DSP chip?
We are bellow 30MIPS for our 16bit single MAC fixed point DSP. 8khz/8kbps I aggree with Jean-Marc that MIPS is dependent from the target DSP, but it's a very good indication when you compare same architecture DSPs. It is very difficult (impossible) to use effecient a DSP using only c. George ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andre Borrelly" <andre@myavalaunc...

[PATCH net-next V2 0/2] virtio-net: don't busy poll for cvq command
...nd which turns out to have several side effects: 1) infinite poll for buggy devices 2) bad interaction with scheduler So this series tries to use sleep instead of busy polling. In this version, I take a step back: the hardening part is not implemented and leave for future investigation. We use to aggree to use interruptible sleep but it doesn't work for a general workqueue. Please review. Thanks Changes since V1: - use RTNL to synchronize rx mode worker - use completion for simplicity - don't try to harden CVQ command Changes since RFC: - switch to use BAD_RING in virtio_break_device(...

Using graphics straight from R into published articles
Hi, I have been working with R for the past couple of years; analyzing data and producing some graphics. I was just wondering if people use graphics from R straight into articles or are they always edited in some way; fonts, headers, axis, color etc? Using photoshop or some other programs? I would like to think it is possible, better and more profession to do it all in R. I tried google and

[Bug 944] ssh_config missing default configuration values for GSSAPI
...----------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|FIXED | ------- Comment #3 from mmokrejs at ribosome.natur.cuni.cz 2006-07-11 04:18 ------- Please reopen and update the ssh_config with these two lines. Although I would aggree one should read manpages it is not easy for kerberos beginners to figure out some variable is missing in their config and that this is causing their client to fail. Please refwer to my original bugreport at Gentoo: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132243 <quote> While inspecting bug #...

I agree, the Changelog.09 file is not as comprehensive as one would like. Specific comments: 1. The ratetables were recently changed to accomodate a new option. I thought

Transition from one server to another.
A frind of mine and I are running a dedicated server, that among other things host mail for ourselves and friends and families. All in all about 15 different domains with 35-40 users. The machine in question is old, so we are doing a slow transition from the old server to the new one. So far, we've managed to move web hosts seamlessly. Due to the technical capabilities at some of the user

QoS in wireless networks
Hello, I''m trying to configure several wireless routers with QoS support. The idea is to implement differentiated services so that VoIP traffic gets the maximal priority, then video, control traffic, interactive data traffic and best-effort traffic. I have seen that CBQ used to be chosen as qdisc for implementing bandwith share in DiffServ but now HTB is preferred because it is

Opening of the Wiki - Part I
Good News, everybody! Maybe not yet, though :) There are two things I'd like to get at with this mail. a) This also has something to do with Ned's mails from yesterday - we have two FAQs at the moment (on www.centos.org and on wiki.centos.org) and we want to unify those, if possible on the wiki. The one feature the www version has and the wiki one doesn't is comments - and we really
