Shorewall site search is now available agai n
Hmm--either the indexing process is still running, or it''s broken again. It''s 0443 GMT, and I can''t get the search engine to find anything on the mailing list or the web site (I used ''dns'' as my search term). It''s not that big of an inconvenience, though--Googling for ''site:shorewall.net dns'' does pretty...

Question about stubborn RPM
Hi, I've made mysqlf a RPM and installed it. After that i did what i shouldn' do: remove the files it installed. Now, i wnat to install it agai and i can't. Already rebuilt the rpm database ( rpm -vv --rebuilddb), used --force, --replacepkgs, --replacefiles, --justdb, --erase, --initdb, but no good. Been at rpm.org, but found nothing that i already know. Any help would be appreciated. Warm regards, M?rio Gamito

pfsync between 8.4 and 9.2
...connections are not kept live. This works fine when the boxes are both running 8.4 Of course, I am not sure if fsync is expcted to work across different OS releases, so my plan was to go ahead and upgrade the other box on the assumption that when they are both running 9.2 it all will start working again. But I thought I shiuld mention it here to see if anyone has seen simila, or to see if anyone says "hmm, it should work fine between 8.4 and 9.2" so, any thoughts ? -pete.

Server being kicked out of the domain every couple of days...
...imary domain controller. No major problem there. Except that once a week our main file server (samba client, domain authentication) would deny any incoming connections. I found that issuing a net join command ; entering the admin username and password would make the file server accept connection again. Not even a need to restart samba ! Being lazy, I added a script making the file server re-join the domain on a weekly basis. While at the beginning it was happening on a weekly basis, it turned out it could happen more often. So I changed the cron to run at 3AM each day. Turned out, it's n...

one-way audio
Im experiencing a problem with a current setup and I've run out of ways to debug it and come to a resolution. I have two E100P's in a machine which is routing traffic over the internet to a machine that has 1 E400P connected to the PSTN. Clients are able to make calls successfully but when the call is connected experience one-way audio. They cannot hear anything said by the person
