Updated - wxRuby Windows installer available for
Curt, I just downloaded and tried your installer and the installation went fine. There are problems with the samples not finding their images files, but only when I try to run the samples from their Start menu shortcuts. still having printer problems.
...t spooler first and then to the printer? if so, the flickering lights tell me the file goes to the spooler and is tossed out. is there a way to check that? there is no WINS server set up in the printer. the printer has a dns server, netmask, gateway.... and they are all what i set them to be. aahhh, there seems to be a cadre of people who think using cups will fix this. i have a very slight preference to fixing this w/o cups just to prove i can get it right, but i'm willing to use cups if that's what it takes. j.
