Vonage SIP access via asterisk?
Does anyone have a working connection to Vonage via asterisk? (SIP, not ATA) I just signed up to test their service and they sent me a Number, Proxy, port and password. Every reference I have tried leaves me with a 404 error coming from Vonage. If you have a working setup, please post some config references. ? skype channel
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I just noticed that the Skype API for linux seems to be available. I've read before a number of posts where people were talking about implementing a chan_skype with the skype API. I wonder if there is any progress in that direction, and if anyone is working on it. /B - -- * GPG-Key: http://evil.gnarf.org/mrbk.pgp A: Because we read from top to

Asterisk + XEN does it make sense?
Hi List, I was wondering if anybody had tried running Asterisk inside virtualization software such as Xen. Are there known problems doing it? Broadvoice Toll-Free IVR issues
Perhaps someone else has had this issue. I currently have BroadVoice as my SIP provider with two phone numbers. The first number is my primary local number; the second is an 877 toll-free number. The issue is with the IVR abilities. When calling the primary number you can press 200 at the main menu and receive my extension. When calling the 877 number, 200 will result in ?that option is invalid?

Forwarding To Cell Phones with Asterrisk PBX
Hello, My company has a 800 number that we use for customer service. However, instead of having our customer service reps at the office, we route these calls to their cell phones using a service provided by gosolo.com. However our current system isn't ideal because it will call each number in order causing longer and longer waits when we've got people on the line. Our goal is to set

BroadVoice outgoing works - now tackle caller ID
Hi, I got a broadvoice "business" account under the byod(bring your own device) program. I have applied the patches and created new asterisk debian packages. I have the account working on inbound and outbound. The problem area is outbound caller ID. I have 3 other accounts with IAX2 providers and have no problem setting the caller ID on outbound calls. I called them and they
