PowerWare 9120 via USB?
Hello...
I have a PowerWare 9120 attached via USB to my Debian system.
My ups.conf looks like this:
[ups1]
driver = bcmxcp_usb
port = auto
desc = "PowerWare 9120"
When testing the driver with "upsdrvctl -u root start" I get:

Powerware 9120 serial connection via USB/serial dongle
I decided to try this to see if it worked better since
Powerware decided to build in some oddball USB
protocol instead of using a HID UPS profile, but it
doesn't seem to work. The USB/serial dongle is
recognized by Linux and added as /dev/ttyUSB0, owned
by group "dialout", so I had to add the nut user to
the dialout group. In the compatibility list, the
proper driver for the

In search of Headset Compatible Analog Phone
I have been looking for analog phones for my * system that work with our plantronic amplifiers and headsets. The problem I am having with the Aastra phones that I have purchased (PT-390, 9116, 9120, 8009 ), is that they don't seem to stay hung up unless you physically hang up the handset everytime you finish a call. I have even purchased the Aastra 9120 which sais it has on-hook dialing however that only seems to be true if you use their headset jack with a simple 2.5mm headset (no a...

Powerware 9120 / bcmxcp losing communication
Hi all,
I just acquired a new UPS and have been trying to get it to work with NUT. It's an Eaton/Powerware 9120 700i with both USB and RS-232 interfaces.
I first tried the USB interface (using bcmxcp_usb) and found that the UPS worked fine for a few minutes but then NUT lost communication and didn't get it back. In addition the UPS itself seemed to lock up at one point such that the inverter shut off an...

bcmxcp_usb offers no runtime or serial # with a Powerware 5110/700va
Hi everyone,
First of all a big thank you for the NUT package, I've been using it for
years and couldn't get by without it!
I have two Powerware UPS's here, a 9120/1500va and a 5110/700va. The 9120
has used a hacked bcmxcp driver (serial) from the 2.0.2 nut version for
about a year now (which I'll explain more about in a seperate email to the
dev list), and the 5110 which I just purchased is using the new bcmxcp_usb
from 2.0.4 ... which brings me to the p...

upsmon/upssched shutdown problem
...but seemingly
should work; but not for me.
We've got a Powerware 9315, that we are serially attaching one machine to.
We have several classes of systems that we want to have shut down at
different times.
I've been doing my config testing by attaching the master machine to a
Powerware 9120, and yanking the power chord.
Master: I've successfully configured the one machine so that it detects
power loss, starts a timer, and shuts itself down.
Slave: I've successfully configured one machine to monitor as a slave, it
detects that master's gone on battery, but won't sta...

[LLVMdev] Annotating known pointer alignment
...ning optimizations, and
then replacing %C by %ptr again. But this is neither efficient nor nice,
and optimizations could cause other instructions to use my dummy
instructions too such that I cannot remove them afterwards.
Nick Lewycky once proposed to add an alignment field to ptrtoint (for
bug 9120), following the principle that pointer uses know the alignment.
That would also help for my example. After inlining, I could visit all
uses of the pointer (load/store/ptrtoint) and add the alignment accordingly.
Also clang could set an alignment for ptrtoint, since it seems to know
that some po...

...tly valid except that some 5125s
got a USB port built in, as well as 9125 5 and 6 Kva. Newer ones are on

Please note when looking at connectivity option table:
- Only one port can be used at a time with 5115RM
- RS232 and USB cannot be used simultaneously on 9120
- SNMP option will be replaced by SNMP/WEB option.
