Hello all,
I will develop small application with Rails and client wants to reach

Anybody know any simulator that I can test Internet Explorer

I have WindowsXP + Mac OS X, so any software that will work on them will
be good for me.

Recent problems printing to HP 7310 port 9100
I have been printing to this printer for years it seems.
Recently, printing from Firefox would hang in the print que, but other
prints would go behind the hung job. Deleting the hung print job would
not seem to change the que until I rebooted.
Now I have an OpenOffice job stuck as well.
I am using the recommended hpijs device driver. Any ideas what may be
wrong here?
I am going to have to

can't boot dom0 on Dell XPS 9100
Using Ubuntu-12.10 and tried Xen 4.2.1 and Ubuntu''s Xen with same errors.
Since Xen never boots successfully - there is no log message.
So I captured the output with video and posted screenshots at
http://skippyvondrake.com.
Maybe it''s a hardware issue. The motherboard has Intel chipset x58 (if
that helps).
The first message of interest:

Printer with driver from Samba prints only b/w
Hi,
sorry if this is off topic, but it only happens when samba is involved,
maybe anybody here has an idea.
System info:
- Clients used were Win10, ranging from 1803 to 1903.
- The DCs are running Samba 4.7.6.
- The print server is a member server. I tried both scenarios with two
samba print servers, Ubuntu 18.04, Cups 2.7. One had Ubuntus Samba,
4.7.6. The other used Louis van Belles 4.10.7.

Mark, it may depend on how he set up printing. If it is CUPS and it can
not connect to LPD or IPP downstream, then that particular queue will be
stopped. So, one may need to restart queues after networks outage. The
most robust way I know is to have CUPS connect jetdirect (9100). No matter
whether there is outage or not, the queue is not stopped... So, it well
could be for him to go carefully through configuration in the first place,
and figure out what in particular happens due to network outage. Requires
some actual sysadmin work ;-)

Anyone successfully using a HP 8000 DN or HP 5 Lsi (with JetDirect module

Subject says it all. If you're successfully doing this, what configs made
it work? FAQs
tell how to set up with a print server, but what if the printer itself is
the server? Trust me,
the HP doesn't know jack about port 139.

wow, $9100 for the 38U rack. thats pricey... and that's before PDUs,
UPS, and all that other important rack mount stuff.

Installing HP Color Laserjet 3500 printer in CentOS 5
...m trying to set up the printer, connected to the network via a
JetDirect printer server at location 192.168.0.200. Trouble is, I'm
really not sure about all the settings in Printer Configuration -
specifically, what should the Device URI be - at the moment, it says
socket://HPColourLaserjet3500:9100, but I'm not sure if this is correct,
but it doesn't seem to be because it won't print a test page.
Any help much appreciated,
Thanks,

printer frustrations
...er (to go inside the Verison one), I plugged it directly into my box (ok,
via a hub). I run CentOS 6. Before we went on the trip, I could print, I
upgraded my system, and this is the first time I'm trying to print... and no joy.
I've tried sending the firmware to it via lp -o raw ... -h :9100, and maybe?
it worked, but no printing. I've upgraded to the latest foo2jzs driver and
.ppd, and nothing. Any ideas? CUPS since to think it can talk to it....
Yes, the system can see the printer....
