samba4 - windows 7+ partially synchronized roaming profile
Hi,
I had searched long for the problem of only partially sync'd profiles on Windows 7/8 . Windows XP has worked fine.
There was always the error "Your roaming profile is not synchronized correctly with the server. You have been logged in with a partially synchronized profile".
The application protocol of windows told me that the file "\\leela$NOCSC$\profiles$\tn.V2\...

How to take ID of number > 7.
I figured out something new that I would like to see if I can do this more
easy with R then Excel.
I have these huge files with data.
For example:
DataFile.csv
ID Name log2
1 Fantasy 5.651
2 New 7.60518
3 Finding 8.9532
4 Looeka -0.248652
5 Vani 0.3548
With like header1: ID, header 2: Name, header 3: log2
Now I need to get the $ID out who have a &log2 value higher then 7.
I know ho to grab the $log2 values with 7+ numbers.
Log2HigherSeven = DataFile$log2 [ DataFile$log2 >=...

NT domain: errors in diagnostic tests 3 and 7+
...(b), they can browse the Samba server in Network Neighbourhood

When I try diagnostic test 3 on the samba server, I am prompted for a
password to view the shares, although I can just press Enter. When I try
diagnostic test 7, I get "session setup failed - ERRSRV - ERR bad pw (Bad
password - name/password pair in a tree connect or session setup invalid)".
In diagnostic test 8 I get "The specified network password is not correct".
Below is the output of smbtestparm, I can also send smb.conf if needed...

[OT] Bash help
I know this is for CentOS stuff, but I'm at a loss on how to build a
script that does what I need it to do.? It's probably really logically
simple, I'm just not seeing it.? Hopefully someone will take pity on me
and at least give me a big hint.
I have a file with two columns 'email' and 'total' like this:
me at example.com 20
me at example.com 40

(mostly) self documenting schema
I have to write/maintain a document describing schema being used in my
Rails application. I have about 7+ tables. I would like to use
ActiveRecord (or something similar) to dynamically generate the parts of
the document with column names, types, attributes, etc. Is there code
out there for this? If not do you think AR would support this?
Thanks,

Bugzilla bugs: close ones waiting for feedback >3 months?
Hi All,
I've been going through the bug queue and there's a number that have been
waiting for reporter feedback for a long time (in one case 7+ months).
Would anyone consider it unduly harsh if I took an axe to the queue and
closed any bugs (ie the unconfirmed or WORKSFORME type) that have been
waiting for reporter feedback for more than, say, 3 months? (Unless
there's a documented reason, like "I'll look at this when I ge...

1.4 SIP Jitter Buffer
...this are
Variable Length DTMF and SIP Jitter Buffering. I would be very interested in
hearing from anyone that is actually running 1.4 in a PRODUCTION
environment, gatewaying SIP to TDM using Digium cards. To me, production
means being able to have 3-4 PRI circuits maxed out for 12+ hours a day and
7+ call setups / second. Anything less than that is not really going to be
an accurate comparison to what I have running.
Anyone have any feedback about this combination?

scim-panel-gtk segfault (2)
Hello,
Here's more info on the problem below:
newer scim packages scim-1.4.6-5.fc8 (fc8) do fix a segfault:
* Fri Nov 17 2006 Shawn Huang <phuang at redhat.com> - 1.4.5-2
- add scim-fix-unload-segfault.patch to fix xim process segfaulting
when already running (#206995)
Could that be the issue?

...t accent as sperate combined codepoints

From: =?utf-8?Q?replaced_Kru=CC=88ger?= <krueger at some.domain>
Searching within roundcube webmail for "kr?ger" as sender
missis this mails.
Roundcube sends (dovecot rawlog):
A0003 UID THREAD REFS UTF-8 ALL HEADER FROM {7+}kr?ger
Is this supposed to work? Haven't done any more debugging
(other search variants) or read RFCs. As a user I would expect
Unicode equivalence rules be applied (see

Which non-parametric regression would allow fitting this type of data? (example given).
Hi,
I'm wondering which function would allow fitting this type of data:
tmp=rnorm(2000)
X.1 = 5+tmp
Y.1 = 5+ (5*tmp+rnorm(2000))
tmp=rnorm(100)
X.2 = 9+tmp
Y.2 = 40+ (1.5*tmp+rnorm(100))
X.3 = 7+ 0.5*runif(500)
Y.3 = 15+20*runif(500)
X = c(X.1,X.2,X.3)
Y = c(Y.1,Y.2,Y.3)
plot(X,Y)
The problem with loess is that distances for the "goodness of fit" are
calculated on the Y-axis. However, distances would need to be
calculated on the normals of the fitted curve. Is the...

There is a reason most NMS systems used SNMP in the past and REST apis past
7+ years. They don't use CLIs except toy Expect type scripts.. Not just
security but better error handling and more.
Good luck learning!
