Region subtag in package 'Language' field
...be used by the hunspell or spelling pkg to select the appropriate dictionary. WRE defines the "Language" field for documentation language, but from the current description it seems restricted to 2 or 3 letter ISO-639 codes such as "en" or "eng". WRE also mentions rfc-5646, which refers to ISO 3166-1 for region/country subtags but it is unclear if these are allowed in the field? Spell checking libraries (e.g. myspell/hunspell) typically use locale-like language names to identify the appropriate dictionary such as "en_GB" or "de_AT", see for examp...

[LLVMdev] Status of blocks runtime in compiler-rt?
...ipermail/libdispatch-dev for mailing list discussion on the topic) and are making good progress, but one of the issues they're running into is support for Blocks in FreeBSD. On the one hand, they could try and back-port the gcc changes from http://www.opensource.apple.com/source/gcc/gcc-5646 and solve the problem that way or, on the other hand, they could just continue FreeBSD's inexorable march towards Clang and get the blocks support as part of compiler-rt. The only problem seems to be that the build support for Blocks in compiler-rt isn't wired up yet, which came...

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc cross compiler for ARM Linux failing
I suspect that my llvm-gcc cross compiler is using the wrong assembler because it does not recognize "-mcpu=cortex-a8". I was trying to build a cross compiler for a Mac host. Now I am trying to build on x86_64 Linux. I am targeting a Beagle board with an ARM Cortex-A8 and Angstrom Linux. TRIED: to use the script in llvm/utils/crosstool/ARM/build-install-linux.sh I used the recommended
