Asterisk and Cisco 5350 - config ?
I would like to try and use a surplus (decommissioned) Cisco AS5350 with Asterisk. Bascially the 5350 will connect to the PRIs and send the calls to asterisk (and likewise for calls from Asterisk to the PSTN). The 5350 has both PRIs and DSPs, so it should be suitable. Has anyone done this before and have a config (for both the 5350 and asterisk) that they ca...

Black screen after install / Centos 7.2
Hi, i just installed CentOS 7.2 on my little "server" but i get a black screen during boot. It is a Asrock Am1h-itx mainboard with an AMD 5350 CPU (onboard graphic). I created a raid 6 but i dont think thats the problem, as the boot process goes pretty far. I would even say its going until X should start, but it is a server install, so i guess there is no X. Can someone tell me what could i do to get more information? Is there some ki...

Dual PRI fail over
I currently have a single PRI however we are getting a second PRI, and the provider (qwest) wants to know if our PBX supports GSAS (they say its a redundant d-channel technology but searching on google for GSAS reveals less than nothing). I've set something similar up before on a cisco 5350, where if one of the PRIs fails, all of the calls destined for either PRI will be routed down the one that didn't fail. Basically the 2 PRIs are bonded together, and act as one. During normal operation the calls come down each PRI in a load balanced fashion (IE if I've got 30 calls up, 15...

Error in zapata/zaptel configuration
...R2 signaling ( which I know is incomplete but should I not see it when I debug Zap channel?). I think there is a problem with my Zapata and zaptel configs . I understand that R2 can work with R2 China and R2 Argentina. Currently am working with R2 Argentina. The E1 is ok as when I configure a Cisco 5350 to work with it, it works perfectly. Here is my current configuration zapata.conf [channels] context=default signalling=r2 r2country=ar group=1 callgroup=1 pickupgroup=1 transfer=yes echocancel=yes callprogress=yes immediate=yes channel => 1-15,17-31 /etc/zaptel span=1,0,0,cas,hdb3 ca...

Squished faxes with txfax
...erestingly it is perfectly repeatable, which seems to rule out timing related issues. My configuration is: Asterisk SVN-branch-1.2-r7337M spandsp-0.0.2pre21 ( though I have tried a 0.0.3 snapshot as well as 0.0.2pre25 ) libtiff 3.8.0-3 I am sending the fax out from Asterisk over a E1 to a Cisco 5350, which then is sending t.38 out to the terminating carrier. The fax completes every attempt, so it doesn't appear to be IP related, and as I mentioned before, the fax on the receiving end always looks almost exactly the same. Also, if I send a fax with a vertical bar down one side the imag...

H323 situation
...The outgoing calls from sip to H323 are ok. I also tested an incoming call from a dahdi channel and from here everything is ok, only one rtp stream and a good call. By the way I had other problem that I fixed, but don't know if it was in the best way. The h323 box is a Cisco AS5300 (or 5350?) and when I was making outgoing calls the AS disconnected all of them after 10 sec. I investigated I noticed that the AS as a limitation to the G711 payload to 20 ms, and asterisk was using 150 ms. I resolve this changing in frame.c the codec value and recompile asterisk. There is simpler way t...

blank upper or lower triangle of cor-matrix
Dear altogether, I want to blank the lower (or upper) part of a correlation matrix as it is done by dist() example: ( d <- cor(matrix(runif(12),nrow=4)) ) If I do the following d[lower.tri(d)] <- "" of course everything is changed to character - that's not what should be. Additionally, it does not work to assign "0" or anything else. The same is true for

predict.coxph
Hi everyone, Can anyone give me more details about the 'lp', 'risk', 'terms', and 'expected' options from the predict.coxph function? I actually found that risk is obtained from exp(lp). I can't find information on 'expected' type however. Is anybody can expand the information on this function? Thank you in advance, I will appreciate it.

AS5300 and Asterisk
Hey all, I have an as5300 I use for dial in customers, we have 4 PRIs on it. We have a few free channels on it. I'm wondering if I setup SIP on the as5300 I can have asterisk use the free channels for dial out. I'd still have to use my TDM04B for incoming calls, but at least I can expand my outgoing. Anyone done anything like this before? I've never messed with VoIP on Cisco
