Blazer_usb Permissions problem: Input/output error
Merry Christmas to you all and best wishes! I ran into exactly the same problem as described. OS: FreeBSD 9.0-Rel UPS: Eaton E-Series NV 600H NUT: from Ports, nut-2.6.5_1 driver: blazer_usb I am sure the problem is not permission-related as it occurs even when the driver runs as root. My tested recipe for USB permissions is: 1. run usbconfig to find where the device is connected. In my case:

Hello, let me first say that I do not have much experience with mailing lists, so I hope you can overlook any faults I might do in this process, nor is English my mother language. Secondly, I would like to thank all the developers of NUT, it truly is a great package of software and has made life easier for many of us. As I've understood the upsuser-list is also frequently read by the devs

Mustek PowerMust 1000AV USB feedbacks
Hello, It looks like the nut-upsuser list is momentarily down. That's why I send it to nut-upsdev list too. I have recently bought a mustek Powermust 1000VA USB (sadly not the USB P version). I have done some tests with the latest nut 2.2.0 megatec and megatec_usb drivers. Here are my feedbacks. It works quite well but is extremely noisy in battery mode (and that is not the noise of the

gamma distribution don't allow negative value in GLMs?
Dear friends, when i use glm() to fit my data, i use glm(formula = snail ~ vegtype + mhveg + humidity + elevation + soiltem, *family = Gamma(link = inverse),* data =a,)) It shows: error in eval(expr, envir, enclos) : *gamma distribution don't allow negative value*. But i use result<-glm(formula = snail ~ vegtype + mhveg + humidity + elevation + soiltem, family = poisson, data =a) #this

megatec_usb
Hoi all, First of all thanks for all the great work on NUT. I have two identical Socomec UPS Netys 1000PE. One is connected to an Ubuntu Hardy 64bit system and is detected just fine by the driver (v1.5.9), see below. The other one is connected to a Debian Etch 32bit system and is not detected by the driver (v1.5.9), see below. Would you have any idea how I could further debug this issue? Could

Re: Bar plot with variable width (down a drill hole) - now missing intervals?
Hi again, Thanks Ted and Marc its works. But of course after pulling in in some real life data I discoverd one hitch. Often there are missing intervals. For example: from <- c(0, 1.2, 4.0, 4.2, 5.0, 25.0, 30.1, 45) to <- c(1.2, 4.0, 4.2, 5.0, 25, 30.1, 36.2, 50) intensity <- c(0, 1, 3, 2, 1, 0, 2, 5) barplot(intensity, width = -(to - from), space = 0, horiz = TRUE, ylim =

Blazer_usb Permissions problem: Input/output error
Hi all, I have an eaton ENV800HA connected for a freebsd 9.0 box with nut 2.6.5 installed (on the supported list). The UPS is connected using the Blazer_USB driver (not sure how to check its version). When I kick off upsd it detects the UPS no problems and I get all my information: battery.charge: 100 battery.voltage: 13.60 battery.voltage.high: 13.00 battery.voltage.low: 10.40

nut-2.0.5 megatec + Online Xanto
good new first: the megatec driverin 2.0.5 now works with the Online Xanto S3000R here - well, for the very basics. the UPS has NO way ofidentifying itself. It also does not respond to the power ratings query ("F"). I previously used a hacked up fentonups driver. This means the driver cannot figure out the battery voltage and thus no battery charge level, which is a problem in our

nut problem on boot/restart
hi! When I turn on my pc everything works fine, but if I restart fails (I'm not sure if this is true at 100%)?(then, i can do 'sudo /etc/init.d/nut restart' and it works) But what is certain is that sometimes when start up the pc it works and sometimes fails, can be a problem with the start time (i have a fast ssd) and the initialization of the driver and the usb port? thanks! syslog:

Hi everybody! I'm sure that I overlook something and feel quite stupid to ask, but I have not found an easy solution to the following problem: Take e.g. the Orthodont data from the nlme package: > head(Orthodont) Grouped Data: distance ~ age | Subject distance age Subject Sex 1 26.0 8 M01 Male 2 25.0 10 M01 Male 3 29.0 12 M01 Male 4 31.0 14 M01 Male

blazer_usb disconnects
I'm running Ubuntu 14.04.1 with nut 2.7.1-1ubuntu1, using a Powerwalker/INNO TECH ups. It used to working fine, but lately blazer_usb just executes a few commands and then terminates with a "Got disconnected by another driver" message. Any suggestions? Example output from blazer_usb with loads of debug: # /lib/nut/blazer_usb -DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD -a nasups Network UPS Tools -

Multiple line plots
Greetings, I would like to plot three lines on the same figure, and I am lost. There is an answer to a similar thread… but I tried matplot and it is beyond me. Problem with blazer_ser/megatec when upgrading to 2.6.0 from 2.4
Hello First things first, thanks for great work with NUT. For years I used Informer compact 3kVA UPS http://www.informups.com/informer_compact.html with nut/megatec serial driver, but it stopped working when I switched to blazer_ser with 2.6.0 upgrade. I'm using 2.6.0 on gentoo. Blazer_ser seems to connect with UPS, but upsmon reports driver not connected. uname -a Linux localhost

I have a simple vector, called tmp that I want to subset based on another vector called vec. Everything works as expected except for below where the subsetting returns something other than the original data.
