SPA-2102 sending local IP instead of WAN IP in SIP packets
Hi Guys, This is such an annoying issue whenever it comes up. The sender and receive always receive the source public IP no matter what in the IP packets but then SIP packets go out with something like 192.168.0.20. In this instance, a Bell Canada DSL modem is installed and I saw the SPA-2102 register properly but only to fail later on due to sending it's LAN IP to the Asterisk server. So, I put NAT=yes and NAT_ALIVE=yes but that didn't help at all. I also put the device on DMZ in the Bell Canada DSL modem and still the same issue. I am wondering when would manufacturers final...

Should a Linksys Sipura 2102 be configured with nat=yes even if it is on the local network?
Should a Linksys Sipura 2102 be configured with nat=yes even if it is on the local network? I have been having some troubles with a Linksys Sipura 2100 series, which suffers from NO AUDIO after a few calls.. Because it is on the same subnet as Asterisk it is configured with nat=no. When you think of it because the Sipura 2100...

So you all think VoIP sypply is warm and fuzzy
Here is a letter I sent them for my $150 paper weight. Dear Voipsupply, As a small service provider, using you company for the first time, I'm very disappointed that you have removed the configuration CD that should have been shipped with the Mediatrix 2102 just to get a few more bucks. I have contacted mediatrix and they have informed me that the CD's is shipped in every 2102. If I don't here back from you shortly and receive the configuration program that should have shipped, I will return it back to you for a full refund and express m...

HP OfficeJet 6110, Sipura 2102, T.38, and Clarent
I have a Sipura 2102 that I'm trying to do T.38 with a Clarent C5CM. I figured skipping the Asterisk server and going right to the Clarent would be best as T.38 is new in Asterisk. However, I can't get the Sipura to link up with the Clarent. Sipura support is less than responsive. Note: I set myself up...

How to list used extensions + assign extension to a roaming phone
...have searched through asterisk command lines but haven't found how to do this: - can I list the phones (callerid or IMSIs?) currently registered ? If I do "dialplan show" that lists the configuration I loaded, e.g [ Context 'sip-local' created by 'pbx_config' ] '2102' => 1. Macro(dialSIP|IMSI1) [pbx_config] '2103' => 1. Macro(dialSIP|IMSI2) [pbx_config] '2104' => 1. Macro(dialSIP|IMSI3) [pbx_config] but it does not tell me who is actually registered or using the network, maybe only...

reinvite
I've never used "reinvite" in systems I have installed to date, and I have finally run across a situation where it would be preferred. A remote office has a flaky Internet connection. With G729 encoding the calls to the central office over the 'net are tolerable. One Linksys 2102 drives two phones at this location, and when the first one calls the second one it travels to the central office and back, which is no longer tolerable. For each sip peer I have "canreinvite=yes", but I am a bit confused as to the correct options on the 2102 to use this feature. Is...

T38 Passthrough Verification
Hi All, I have 1.4.9.1 setup, with the compiler flags enabled for T38, and have a Mediatrix 2102 and a Linksys SPA 8000-G1. I can pass faxes between devices but can't seem to invoke T38 pt UDPTL. It's enabled in sip.conf [general] and well as the [peer]. I get an error at the CLI: WARNING[3096]: chan_sip.c:14149 handle_request_invite: RTP re-invite after T38 session not handled yet...
