Running 1.0alpha5 (though I've been having this problem for the past couple of versions), and using mbox for the mailboxes. After I've read my mail using Apple's Mail.app (or Thunderbird) and take it offline, when I try to open the INBOX (or any mailbox) with pine, I get the following message (in pine): [Discarding bogus continuation in msg 1: $Forwarded NonJunk] Quitting

I'm trying to set up a temporary mailserver using Debian Sarge and Dovecot 1.0 with maildir format. My only previous experience has been on a simple imap server. I have read the wiki documentation and searched the archives, but can't tie down my problem. The log tells me Info: passwd-file(anne) : unknown user. Hmm, this is peculiar! This mailbox has been unchanged on my test server since September. I've been using it to test each new version of Dovecot just after I've compiled it. When beta1 was released, I opened this mbox with no problems. However, when I upgraded to beta2, I got "file size unexpectedly shrinked in mbox file /export/mail/a/24/vis99003/INBOX (16895967 vs 16899267)".

Every once in a while I get this [1] error when trying to open a mail folder in SquirrelMail. I don't know enough about IMAP to tell if it is a SquirrelMail or a Dovecot issue. I also get this [2] error message every time I try to send an email. The email goes through but there is no copy in the Sent folder. If there is some kind of logging I can enable that would help with this please let
