dovecot - Jan 2006 - Upgrade question

I have 0.99.14 installed.  I've downloaded the latest version.  Does it 
install over the old one, in parallel, or need an uninstall of the old 
one?

It'll overwrite all the old binaries if you're installing it to same
location. But you'll probably want to start dovecot.conf from the new
dovecot-example.conf instead of trying to fix the old one.

I decided to play safe and remove the old one.  I'll let you know how it 
goes.
