[LLVMdev] [llvm-commits] [cfe-commits] [PATCH] [llvm+clang] memset for non-8-bit bytes
...st 30 years. There's even an ISO/IEC standard.
I know of architectures like Texas' C55x DSPs that address 16 bits at a time, but even their data sheets state:
• 256K Bytes Zero-Wait State On-Chip RAM, Composed of:
• – 64K Bytes of Dual-Access RAM (DARAM), 8 Blocks of 4K x 16-Bit
• – 192K Bytes of Single-Access RAM (SARAM), 24 Blocks of 4K x 16-Bit
Perhaps you could begin by defining more accurately what you're talking about?

I'm assuming he means an architecture where CHAR_BIT > 8.

24 bit flac decoding efficiency
I am trying to decode 192k/24 bit flac on 542 MHZ risk processor, and I am
having problems. I seem to be right at the edge of what this processor can do.
So I am wondering what functions would be canidates for assembly code
optimization? Any suggestions? Or could an older version of code be a batter
candidate to use?...

Icecast 2.4.3 stop play on https
Hi,
We use Icecast 2.4.3 and SSL streaming for a long time on CentOS 6 and
7.
The last time we have some problems on playing 192k mp3 on https.
The stream play 2 second and stop, on http we have not that problem. (we
restart the encoder, but same problem)
(we use a jPlayer and direct stream url in chrome)
We check on the error log, but no errors and in the access log we see:

Questions about OPUS 1.2
I would like to ask them Why do they always say that OPUS is a leader in 64k and 96k, but that it is not 128k or 192k? Does OPUS not achieve transparency in 128k and at 160k is it like a 320k MP3 file?
Thanks for reading my question, this is referred to the new version of OPUS 1.2. Since I want to know your recommendation for a transparent file at a lower bitrate.

[LLVMdev] [cfe-commits] [PATCH] [llvm+clang] memset for non-8-bit bytes
> Please start a thread on llvmdev about this functionality, and outline what other intrinsics will have to change to add non-8-bit byte support.
Well, memset is the only we have seen so far (our back-end is ~50% finished for an initial release). We have our own front-end as well (we are currently not using the clang front-end), and currently don't use many llvm intrinsics (only

Um, yep. The AS/400/system 1/whatever is not a small system. It's what
used to be called a mid-frame, not a micro. It's money.
Back around '94, I worked at a small software house that had it's own
DOS/VSR/SP mini-mainrame: Looked like a *very* large tower case... and
cost $192k. I wouldn't expect a system 1, if that's the current name, to
be under $100k or $200k, minimum.

new flac user
a new user to flac here...am planning on archiving all my cd collection to an external hdd.have thought of using mp3 at 320k cbr or 192k vbr but have decided to go on flac.I am using EAC with flac as an external compression.there is an option on eac for bit rates.I think the default rate was set to 640kbits/s, with a min of 32kbits and max of 1024kbits/snow, my inquiry is... do I need to change the bit rate to 1024kbits or is the se...

server, it creates the mount point on the server.
I am using ices 2 (instead of shout), and in my ices.conf file (or on the
command line), I specify the mount point. In my case, I have 2 shell
scripts that I run at bootup that create 2 mount points, one is a 192k
stream (mount point ices192 specified on the command line i.e. ices -m
ices192 -all the other options) for my lan, and another 56k stream (mount
point ices56) which is accessible by internet users.
I hope this helps clear things up.
