CyberPower BR850ELCD ignores offdelay and turns itself back on while still on battery
...ing problems getting the UPS to work properly. First issue: whatever I set as the offdelay, seems to be ignored and the UPS just cuts the power about 2sec after receiving the shutdown command. Second issue: When the UPS is on battery power and I issue the shutdown, it goes off, but after about 15sec it comes back on even while still on battery power. I tried setting ondelay to -1 and while that keeps the USV off, when the power comes back, the USV appears to turn on, but there is no power on its outlets. Only the additional 3 outlets that are not covered by the battery, do have power. The...

I''m a newbie to tc and after some experimenting I have the following problem: # tc qdisc show qdisc sfq 8006: dev ipsec0 quantum 1514b perturb 15sec I can''t get rid of this entry. Is there a way to clear all entries? I tried all sorts of "tc qdisc del xxx" but nothing seems to work. Simulation using parts of density function
Hi My simulation with the followin R code works perfectly: sim <- replicate(999, sum(exp(rgamma(rpois(1,2000), scale = 0.5, shape = 12)))) But now I do not want to have values in object "sim" exceeding 5'000'000, that means that I am just using the beginning of densitiy function gamma x < 15.4. Is there a possibility to modify my code in an easy way? Thanks for any help!

Making LLD PDB generation faster
...ons, yes to all of them  You can take a look at this prototype/proposal: https://reviews.llvm.org/D55585 Overall, computing ghashes in parallel at link-time and merging Types with them is less costly that the current approach to merging. The 35sec you’re seeing for merging should go down to about 15sec. The patch doesn’t parallelize (yet) the Type merging itself, but we have an alternate multithread-suitable implementation of DenseHash which already supports lockless, wait-free, insert/fetch/resize. The prototype allows for testing different hashing algorithms, and indeed xxHash seems to be the...

LG PC Suite installed but wont run
...installed it in the hope that I could run LG PC Suite iii on it. All looked well throughout the installation process but now that it is installed - whenever I doubleclick the item all that happens is that a bouncy LG PC suite symbol appears next to my mouse arrow and disappears again after about 15sec.. And the program does not open. Is there something I could try doing to get it to work after all? Or is there opensuse software that allows me sending and receiving texts via my computer? Any help would sooo be appreciated!!! Thanks

samba slow at overwriting of files
...m). now I have the problem, that overwriting of files on shares of that samba machine sometimes is extremely slow. writing new files is fast as ever. but what seems interesting to me is, that it depends on how I'm overwriting files. for example I'm working with homesite 5, which needs up to 15sec to overwrite a simple html file. ultraedit(a text editor) on the other hand has no problems with overwriting. an other example: copying files with windows commander (now: total commander) is extremely slow too if I'm copying files that already exist on the target network drive. on the other h...

How to delete a tc qdisc entry?
Hi there, I cannot find the exact statement I used to create my tc qdisc entry, so how do I delete it? It says: (tc qdisc show) qdisc sfq 8021: dev eth1 quantum 1514b perturb 15sec What I am trying to accomplish is reduce the speed of a network-device. I don''t need classes (for now), I just want to limit the max speed to say 2 Mbit with as few rules as possible. I tried it with 1 class and a tc filter that should match all but that didn''t work either. I h...

Re: Mode context extremely poor performance and varyio

The average response time of our sql request on ia32 is 0.32Sec very regularly. On our Itanium on OCFS that's very randomly between 1 and 15Sec, and on RAW between <1s and 3 sec. David is an another customer of RedHat,HP,Oracle and happen a bug very close to our. Then both HP and RedHat provide him a special kernel e47 and special SecurePath with the last 7.01 qlogic driver. That's the reason why i ask you for it. Because our name i...
