[RFC PATCH v2 0/7] stabilize kepler reclocking
Hello, following up on myself, it was suggested on IRC that I better attach a dmesg output. Here's the output of a clean boot & echo 0f > /sys/.../pstate cycle. I can't spot a message that relates to the reclock action, and there's only one weird "nouveau 0000:04:00.0: clk: base: 7 MHz, boost: 7 MHz" message. On the other hand: # cat

Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks! Facts - Xen 4.0.3, Linux 3.2.7 PVOPs - Happens on HP Ivybridge. Doesn''t happen on very similar HP Sandybridge Clash system. - Happens on battery, but not on AC. -

usb problem on Dell Latitude 3570
Hello All, after update to Centos7.5 all our Latitudes 3570 - some 150- suffer usb problems. Plug and play doesn't work any more, people need to insert usb devices - mouse, keyboard, eidreader - first and then boot in order to use them. dmesg | tail -n15 gives these EM: [ 25.164396] usb 1-8: device descriptor read/64, error -110 [ 25.418387] usb 1-8: new full-speed USB device number 6

bindings /perl / slackware 14.0 / GSoC
Xapian Developers, I suggest a small xapian GSoC project to get xapian-bindings for perl to pass tests on Slackware Linux 14.0, with a follow up on version 14.1. The xapian-bindings 1.2.21 failed a number of perl tests on 14.0, and with 1.2.22 still fail. I cannot be involved in the project. Sincerely, Eric Lindblad

fentonups driver patch for Effekta MHD3000 UPS
Hi ups-devel, As I looked throw www.networkupstools.org site, haven't found any pointers where to send patches, so I hope this is the right place. (Please let me know weather this is the right place.) The patch contains a minor change in the logic of the driver, our Effekta MHD 3000 UPS continuously writes status data to the serial port, so one has to send a CR character and empty the

GPU passthrough - MSI R9 380 4GB, works only ONCE
Hello guys, I have a problem when using my MSI R9 380 4G graphic card as GPU passthrough with KVM. At the first linux boot (Fedora 23) I am able to successfully start virtual machine and it works! However if i will shut down virtual machine and start it again - the screen will stay blank! So far I have been able to find on the internet that some graphic cards just can not reinitialize itself

tapply problem
Hello everybody. I have a question that has stumped me and the usual "apply" tricks don't seem to work. I run a course where each student's performance is marked by one or more assessors. I have a data frame containing students' names, assessors' names and their marks, arranged as follows: ID student assessor Q1A Q1B Q1C Q2A Q2B Q3 1 2152833

R 14.0, ggplot2: could not find function "initRefFields"
Hi, I have a problem combining R and SPSS (21). I do not know whether the solution is in R or in spss, so I will post both in the R group and in the SPSS group. I use the R plugin in spss(21). The most important reason to use this plugin is ggplot2 (spss does not have a decent graphical system). This plugin requires R 14.0 (14.2 or 15 does not work). When I install R it gives an warning: >

Update from my end: I found the old thread where I posted a possible resolution for a similar issue on CentOS 7.6 with the same protocol (2012): https://alioth-lists.debian.net/pipermail/nut-upsuser/2019-June/011451.html https://alioth-lists.debian.net/pipermail/nut-upsdev/2019-June/007440.html Some of my initial steps were probably unnecessary, but through a combination of configuration tweaks
