[patch] klibc: merge s390/s390x 2nd try
From: Heiko Carstens <heiko.carstens@de.ibm.com>
Merge s390 and s390x into s390. Patch is against current linux-2.6-klibc
tree and seems to work.
Signed-off-by: Heiko Carstens <heiko.carstens@de.ibm.com>

As a side note: a bitops patch is missing to make this working. Martin will
send it soon. If it's needed earlier I can send it as well.

[PATCH 2/12] ldt-accessors
Introduce a write acessor for updating the current LDT. This is required for
hypervisors like Xen that do not allow LDT pages to be directly written.
Testing - here's a fun little LDT test that can be trivially modified to test
limits as well.

[RFC, PATCH 8/24] i386 Vmi syscall assembly
Illustration of how VMI inlines are used to greatly limit the impact of code
change in low level assembler code. Spinlocks, system calls, and the fault
handling paths are affected by adding some padding bytes to convert the native
instructions into a hook point for the hypervisor to insert shim code.
These changes are sufficient to glue the Linux low level entry points to

SMP bootstrapping support. Just as in the physical platform model,
the BSP is responsible for initializing the AP state prior to execution.
The dependence on lots of processor state information is a design choice

awakens the same start of day state on APs as on the BSP.
It is likely the AP startup and the start-of-day model will

do_mounts new sysfs support?
Looking at do_mounts.c, it does not seem to support the "major:minor"
syntax exported in 'newer' sysfs (according to linux-2.6.15.6/init).
The following is untested, but might work nicely... I will fully test
this when I get home later today. PS, I also added some error output
when it fails to parse the device number, just for kicks.
As I said, I can't test this, so feel

I did some more research, and it looks like the problem is NOT related
to missing fonts.
I installed a vanilla CentOS 7 desktop, activated EPEL, installed
cdlabelgen, downloaded Gtkcdlabel,

segfault isoreg with NAs
Dear list,
As can be seen below, adding a NA to the y values
in a call to isoreg results in a segfault.
ir4 <- isoreg(1:10, y4 <- c(5, 9, 1:2, 5:8, NA, 8))
Adding missing values to the x values, on the contrary,
gives an error, but maybe the error message could be
tailored to this particular situation.
y <- c(5, 9, 1:2, 5:8, 3, 8)
x <- c(1:9, NA)
isoreg(x, y)

--link-dest on a local filesystem
Hi guys,
I've been struggling with getting --link-dest working for a couple of
hours now. I'm using rsync 2.6.9 (protocol 29), on Gentoo Linux.
For some strange reason, whenever I recreate the source file, even
though it's identical to the old source file --link-dest simply does not
create the link. Point in case (starting from a blank directory tmp in
my home directory):

%h,%p,%u expansion for ControlPath
This allows me to set 'ControlPath ~/.ssh/sockets/%h.%p.%u' for example.
Have I missed a good reason why ssh_connect finds the default port
number for itself instead of just having it in options.port (like we do
for the the default in options.user)?
