'Transport endpoint not connected'
This should be a pretty easy issue to reproduce, at least it seems to happen
to me very often. (gluster-3.2.5)
After storage backend(s) have been rebooted, the client mounts are often
broken until you unmount and remount. Example from this morning: I had
rebooted storage servers to upgrade them to ubuntu 12.04. Now at the client
side:
$ ls /gluster/scratch
ls: cannot access /gluster/scratch:

ConnBytes iptables match
Hi,
as I promised in LARTC list I created patch for new connbytes
match. It matches packets which bellongs to connection which
transfered given range of bytes.
For those interested it is at
http://luxik.cdi.cz/~devik/connbytes/
It was originaly meant to be used with HTB or other qdisc to
reclassify long download streams to lower prio class.

Asterisk 1.00 Call quality problem
...oth these phones are using ULAW to the server, and we have plenty of
G729 licenses on the server.
Now the BudgetTone does not have any problems at all. The Cisco
however has severe breakup on the incoming audio from the VoIP
provider. The caller can hear me fine. In some cases the call is okay
for 10seconds or so then slowly gets worse, but most of the time I
just cant make out what they are saying.
The link we are running this on is a 1500/256 ADSL line, we are not
running much else on this link so it does not appear to be bandwidth
related.
I tried changing codecs that the phone uses, in particula...

hide unreadable
...th 3000 files, created with the following script:
for i in {1..3000}; do dd if=/dev/urandom of=test$i bs=512k count=1; done
?
When i save a file with word2010/2013 to this folder, everything works.
But when i enable "hide unreadable=yes" on this share, File saving with word needs about 10seconds!
?
The user can read everything on this share.
What is the problem??
?
This problem is also reproduceable on other samba servers.
Thanks

DISA and a long delay; ideas?
Hi,
I have just setup a DISA setup whereby people can dial in, authenticate, are
given a dialtone and can then call out.
Everything works however there is a 10 second delay after the user enters
the number and presses #, until the system does anything.
Here is the relevant section from my extensions.conf:

Problems with no method error with rufus scheduler
...ave a problem with rufus. I created a test.rb file in the /config/
initializers folder.
test.rb
require ''rubygems''
require ''rufus/scheduler''
scheduler = Rufus::Scheduler.start_new
scheduler.each ''10s'' do
puts "hey see you in 10seconds!"
end
works fine so far.
Now I change it to:
test.rb
require ''rubygems''
require ''rufus/scheduler''
scheduler = Rufus::Scheduler.start_new
scheduler.each ''10s'' do
recipe = Recipe.check_for_new_print_jobs
end

[Bug 2208] cygwin version of rsync sometimes hangs
...shown:
receiving file list ... done
zTransfer/html/thumbs/12592.jpg
zTransfer/html/thumbs/12593.jpg
zTransfer/html/thumbs/12594.jpg
<blah blah blah.. >
zTransfer/html/thumbs/12596.jpg
zTransfer/html/thumbs/12597.jpg
Then it just hangs like this, nothing else happens.
The rsync lasts around 10seconds
I don't know what is going on,
rsyncing to other hosts works fine, just this host is acting up.
The host is in a LAN with me and connection is fine.
Firewall is off,
What else can be the problem?
Any reply will be appreciated
Thanks!

...server WITHOUT any telco board (i.e., digium). Installation looks ok, however I am having problems.
MY SETUP:
2xATAs are configured to use * as GkorProxy
Asterisk is registered to my SER SIP/RTP Proxy
1.) First test
- ATA1 calls to ATA2. When voicemail starts playing, it just cuts-off after 5-10seconds (consistently).
- Solution: I have to reconfigure ATA to use OutboundProxy to be Asterisk IP.
- Am I doing the right thing?
2.) Second test:
- ATA1 calls ATA2 and left a message. * sends an email to the owner of ATA2.
- ATA2 retrieves the message by dialing the extension (i.e., exten=>9999,1...

CyberPower 1500AVRT won't load driver!
Hello! I got my hands on a CyberPower 1500AVRT, and i'm trying to get it
connected to my Gentoo machine.
I've followed all the basic guides on setting up NUT and UPS' but have had
no luck.
My current ups.conf is:
[cyberpower-gentoo]
driver = cyberpower
port = /dev/ttyS0
desc = Workstation
Upon running /etc/init.d/upsd start or upsdrv start I get:

Office (2003) saving excel sheet takes VERY long..
Hi!
Maybe you can help me, would be very nice!
I'm new to the list and I'm very glad that it exists...
A week ago we migrated to samba and since then it's taking very long to
save a 1,8MB excel document. On fast ethernet it takes us about 10
seconds, on wireless lan it can take up to a minute, although
transferring the same amount of data from the very same machine, that is

[Bridge] [RFC PATCH 0/2] Allow full bridge configuration via sysfs
Right now, you can configure most bridge device parameters via sysfs.
However, you cannot either:
- add or remove bridge interfaces
- add or remove physical interfaces from a bridge
The attached patch set rectifies this. With this patch set, brctl
(theoretically) becomes completely optional, much like ifenslave is
now for bonding. (In fact, the idea for this patch, and the syntax
used herein, is
