Summarizing data containing data/time information (as factor)

A questionb about the Wilcoxon signed rank test
Hi guys,   I have two data sets of prices: endprice0, endprice1   I use the Wilcox test:   wilcox.test(endprice0, endprice1, paired = TRUE, alternative = "two.sided",  conf.int = T, conf.level = 0.9)   The result is with V = 1819, p-value = 0.8812.   Then I calculated the z-value of the test: z-value = -2.661263. transpose? reshape? flipping? challenge with data frame
Greetings all, I am having difficulty transposing, reshaping, flipping (not sure which) a data frame which is read from a DBF file. I have tried using t(), reshape() and other approaches without success. Can anyone please suggest an way (elegant or not) of flipping this data around ? The initial data is like propsum (defined below), and I want it to look like tpropsum once reformed. >

Possible bug, Rprof() and scan(pipe()) (PR#1140)

Request for Assistance in R with NonMem

standardGeneric seems slow; any way to get around it?
Hi, I'm running some routines with standard matrix operations like solve() and diag(). When I do a profile, the lead item under total time is standardGeneric(). Furthermore, solve() and diag() have much greater total time than self time. ??? I assume there is some time-consuming decision going on in the usual functions; is there any way to avoid that and go straight to the calculaions? Thanks
