samba - Mar 2020 - Windows 10 1909 point and print restriction v2

Hello Morillo,

I have reviewed the steps described again. In fact, I had already done this
several times. :D

Even so, it does not map. The shared folder is mapped, but the printer is
not. On windows 7 it works correctly.

From a Windows 10 computer, If you browse \\smbprintserver\myprinter, what kind
of error have you ?

There was an error with the message below:

Windows cannot connect to the printer

 error 0x000006d1


At first, O fixed this problem creating a registry entry:

reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Printers" /v
ForceCSREMFDespooling /t reg_dword /d 00000000

If you and and i suggest you do set this in GPO.

But you use UNC like this : \\hostname.fqdn.tld\myprinter

Yes, it is still possible to use only the hostname, but if something is off in
resolving it doesnt work.
