samba - Jun 2017 - failed to call wbcGetpwnam/wbcGetgrnam/wbcGetpwsid WBC_ERR_DOMAIN_NOT_FOUND

Arch doesn't have versions, it's a rolling release.
Also, it's a DC not a Domain Member.
I gave my versions at the beginning of this discussion.

I'm 99% sure it's something screwy with this installation/provision but
I've checked all the usual suspects.

OK, I now have an Arch Linux Samba AD DC and it works ;-)

See the attached file for the notes I made during the Samba
installation, It actually took me longer to install Arch than Samba, no
wonder it is a rolling release LOL

That's great. You managed to get a freshly installed Arch linux install to
provision correctly. This doesn't help me solve my issue in the slightest.

I don't need to know that it CAN work correctly, I need to know why my
install is NOT working correctly and so far you, Rowland, have not done
anything to help that situation.

Sorry to be blunt but all you have done is prove what I already know SHOULD
happen does happen on a working install.
