samba - Jul 2014 - changing samba service order in RHEL/CENTOS?

The init scripts do not seem to have the chkconfig parameters... I need to start
samba before autofs or it cannot provide the mounts from LDAP...

Not currently an upstart job, so cannot make autofs wait for samba. Or maybe
more to the point I don't know how ;)

Not sure if I understand this correctly. It doesn't matter which is
started first, but in any case the file server will be up long before
any client, no?

What does:
auotomount -m
show on a client with autofs started after the file server?
