Hello, I would like to know what's the difference between Samba 3.X and Samba4? Is Samba4 ready to deploy (upgrade from 3.x) in production environments? Kind regards, Nico

We're still working on finishing the integration for a 4.0.0 release for the file and print parts. Jeremy.
Hello again, samba 3X is a nt-style domain. You have to work hard to distribute gpos by writing own scripts. Samba 4 ia a ADS style domain. GPOs on the fly and nearly everything else like ADS. You can work with MS ADS Tools to administrate Samba4. ----------------------------------------------- EDV Daniel M?ller Leitung EDV Tropenklinik Paul-Lechler-Krankenhaus Paul-Lechler-Str. 24 72076 T?bingen Tel.: 07071/206-463, Fax: 07071/206-499 eMail: mueller at tropenklinik.de Internet: www.tropenklinik.de ----------------------------------------------- -----Urspr?ngliche Nachricht----- Von: samba-bounces at lists.samba.org [mailto:samba-bounces at lists.samba.org] Im Auftrag von Nico De Dobbeleer Gesendet: Mittwoch, 23.
