samba - Jul 2006 - rpcclient netsharegetinfo against linux server

Hi list,

I wonder why rpcclient -c 'netsharegetinfo tmp' returns
"C:\tmp" as
physical path when run against a samba server on a linux box. It  
should return "/tmp".

As I understand it the rpcclient command is not actively maintained,  
if so, is there any other utils or libs that will let me do this?

The srvsvc calls always convert Unix paths to c:\ style
paths to make Windows clients happy.

It's more of a developer tool than abandoned code.
