Many of the XP systems shipping today come pre-configured to keep their clocks in sync by communicating with one of Microsoft's SNTP servers, and will apparently automatically use a local AD server if available, as well. The "net time" command can be used to change the systems to use a local NTP server as well. I'm wondering this: If the firewall redirects ntp traffic from the Windows boxen (that are attempting to get to one of MS's SNTP servers) to a local NTP server will the WIndows systems properly time sync? Or will it not work correctly because, without a specific setsntp:x.x.x.x, it will be looking for exclusively for an SNTP server? Thanks. Chris
