Hi there I am running a Suse Linux Professional 9.1 with samba3-3.0.14a-21 from SerNet. The clients are using Windows XP. In the smb.conf I have the following settings: browsable = yes writables = yey create mask = 0770 directory mask = 2770 force create mode = 0770 force directory mode = 2770 Now I have the following question: When the user click the "Read only" checkbox under the file properties in Windows there is no effect. How can I enable that the user can click thix checkbox and then the file can only be accessed in read only mode?
