I've mounted a Win 98 share as read/write: interns2:/home/aire# mount -t smbfs //interns1/My_Documents on /interns1 type smbfs (rw) yet the perms seem to suggest otherwise: drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 4096 2005-06-06 19:03 Staff Folders drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 4096 2005-06-06 19:18 Templates drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 4096 2005-07-23 15:42 Useful stuff for interns Any attempts to change them, using all methods i've tried, fail. Windows users can write to the share fine
