samba - Jul 2005 - smb fails on FC4 x86_64 wtih cannot open secrets.tdb

I have installed samba on FC4 (x86_64) and get the following errors when I try
to start the package.

I have been unsuccessful in finding anything about this error.  ldap starts
without problems, as does nmb.  The file /etc/samba/secrets.tdb does exist. 
Could it be an SELinux issue? Help?

Could be.  Check the list archives for details on
disabling SElinux (or try the Fedora mailing lists).
Have you tried on a FC4 i386 install?
