[Samba] Samba 3.0.14a vs. 2.0.7, is "include =" recursive?
Hi, I upgraded a mid-sized samba install (+-150 pc's) from Samba 2.0.7 to 3.0.14a last night. It is acting as a PDC and the upgrade went smooth except for one thing. Under 2.0.7, it seems like the "include =" is recursive.. ie: in included files, you can include files. This behavior seems to have changed in 3.0.14a. Can someone confirm this? My setup: smb.conf include = /usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf.%m

I doubt this will get fixed any time soon since this is only the second time it has come up in just under 2 years. cheers, jerry -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCrtCoIR7qMdg1EfYRAlLTAJ9kw2rZYsGp0+oROpgFlAnYus62KgCgi5JE lO63jgBX0kksUWxusOlaRJM=jFi4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

Did you migrate the auth data from one backend to another? I have to do such a migration in a couple of days, and I am trying to double-check that I have planned everything right. -- Fabio "Kurgan" Muzzi
