Running Samba Version 3.0.13. I want to have a share that is only accessible by users who are a member of a specific A.D. Group. Below is the share definition: [guidehome-dev] comment = Access to guidehome Development path = /usr/local/apache2/guidehome/development browseable = yes writeable = yes force group = Dir-Websv03p-Apacheroot-Guidehome-Development valid users @GHDOMAIN+"Dir-Websv03p-Apacheroot-Guidehome-Development" force create mode = 0775 force directory mode = 6775 The permissions on the directory are: websv03p:/usr/local/apache2/guidehome/development # l total 716 drwxrwsrwx 29 i11689 dir-websv03p-apacheroot-guidehome-development 4096 Jun 13 10:35 ./ drwxrwsr-x 3 root it_all 4096 May 5 2004 ../ With this configuration a member of the Dir-Wwebsv03p-Apacheroot-Guidehome-Development group isn't allowed access to the share. If I comment out the valid users directive I'm then able to access it, but so are users who aren't members. TIA, Josh Konkol, CCSE CNE MCSE Technical Research Specialist .~.
