Hi,i have the following problems with a try print a document using cups/samba to
print in windows 2000 machine.
When i try print the file, i have the following error:
E [14/Dec/2004:16:45:29 -0200] [Job 6] Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will
retry in 60 seconds...ERROR: SMB tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
E [14/Dec/2004:16:45:57 -0200] [Job 5] Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will
retry in 60 seconds...ERROR: cli_session_request() failed...
In cupsd.conf and smb.conf i have my network to allow print and samba access.
I can make telnet in cups server in 631 port to confirm service working
properly:
[root@server samba]# telnet 192.168.2.1 631
Trying 192.168.6.1...
Connected to server.host.com.br (192.168.2.1).
Escape character is '^]'.
I can make the smbclient -L host -U username and can i see the printer share:
[root@curitiba samba]# smbclient -L cwb02 -U tux

added interface ip=192.168.2.1 bcast=192.168.255.255 nmask=255.255.0.0

I have the ports 137:139 TCP and UDP open in my firewall
I try changing the version of samba to 2.x and dont working too.
I use now this version in Mandrake linux v 10.1
samba-client-3.0.7-2.2.101mdk.i586
samba-common-3.0.7-2.2.101mdk.i586
samba-server-3.0.7-2.2.101mdk.i586
My access.log :
