The "mail pdf printer" is just a printer as far as Samba is concerned, queing the job just happens to invoke a script that does the ->pdf->mail thing rather than submitting it to an actual print queue.

Is this a 3rd party app or where do I get started looking at this? Thanks! m/

Is this a 3rd party app or > where do I get started looking at this?Yes, it is included with just about every Linux distribution: Ghostscript. We just install an HP 2000C (thats color) Postscript driver and aim it to a script that writes the postscript to a file, runs ps2pdf14 on it, and sends the output back to the user as an e-mail attachment.
