Hello - I see from the 3.0.8 release notes: * Remove support for passing the new password to smbpasswd on the command line without using the -s option. I used to use the option: smbpasswd -a $user $pass to quickly add a new user to the smbpasswd database. This no longer works in 3.0.8. I have tried every combination I can think of adding the -s and -L options to the command line and in every case I get the smbpasswd help file. Can someone give me the correct syntax to be able to add a user and set their password on a single command line?
