I have a Fedora2 Samba server running 3.0.6. It is currently setup to be the PDC and is using tdbsam as the password backend. Every thing works fine except users changing their passwords. I have tried Ctrl-Alt-Del, user logging into swat and user telneting to Samba server logging in as themselves and running smbpasswd. Nothing works. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks, Louis
Never mind. I finally figured it out. It turned out to be the passwd chat. It was not set up right. Once I set it up right it worked. Lastly I want to say that I LOVE SAMBA. Thank you to the writers... Louis Louis Bohm wrote:> I have a Fedora2 Samba server running 3.0.6. It is currently setup to > be the PDC and is using tdbsam as the password backend.
