I have two systems on different subnets that are to be members of the same domain; nether are the domain master. I am running RedHat Enterprise 3 Update 2 on each. Both are running samba-common-3.0.2-6.3E samba-client-3.0.2-6.3E samba-3.0.2-6.3E Both are using the smb.conf except with changes on their netbios name and interfaces to reflect their identies. One runs with no problem s. The other has the following errors: smbclient -L server -N Anonymous login successful Domain=[Domainname] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.2-6.3E] tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE If I do the same command to both of them adding "-d 10", the output is the same for nine pages until it comes time for the output. The system that is not working ends in "tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE" /var/log/messages lists the following errors for the system that is not working: Jul 23 17:08:33 hurricane smbd[2777]: [2004/07/23 17:08:33, 0] smbd/service.c:make_connection_snum(627) Jul 23 17:08:33 hurricane smbd[2777]: Can't become connected user!
